If you don't know how to read Chinese, forget about it - you won't be able to understand anything on the menus. It's very clear Lucky Pot tends to mostly cater to exclusively Chinese clientele. I had to come with my Chinese girlfriend to understand anything on the menu.
Your typical Cantonese fare is served here and most items are done well enough. The quality of the wok hei is okay, making the food not excellent but just great compared to its counterparts like Dong Kee, J&Y or Yu Seafood.
If you can come here with a Chinese reading friend/family - try it out. Restaurants like these need to be supported and should be kept around. Extremely affordable and great tasting for the low price.
My favorite item was the shredded chicken, but most items are really good.

Great value deals for food. The food is great at reasonable prices for family dinner. Nowadays, it is very hard to find a restaurant like this one, especially with the increased cost of living. The only downside is that there is limited parking spaces outside the restaurant, but there are more parking spaces across the street next to the church. I invited friends from Mississauga to have dinner today at noon, and there were five of us, so we went to finish the meal! The waiter said that the set meal I often ordered in the past was no longer available. But there is no update even on the Internet? When I went to Guodu, I saw that the set menus at Yijia were not as good as before! The waiter said that the lobster in the 5-pound lobster set meal would exceed 5 to 6 pounds. Then I ordered a lobster set meal over 4 pounds for $218! The boss caught a 4 and a half pound live lobster for us to watch. It was a golden sand lobster. After eating lobster so many times, my sister and I both ate the lobster from other restaurants and found that it was not live, but the meat was loose! Because my friend and his wife are here, I don’t want to react like a mother! After that, I called the restaurant twice to find a boss, but he didn't dare to answer the phone! Not only does Guodu not allow reservations for dinner at night, they also require people to go to Guodu and wait for a table! Previously, the dinner limit was only one and a half hours. I used to go there often, probably for less than two years. This time I did business, I had no credibility, and the waiter’s attitude was bad. I really won’t help you again! There are tons of restaurants to choose from! If you don't do business well, you'll only catch a few customers!

No problem, so I went to the walk in to wait for a table at 7:00. , before I arrived, there was a three-person table waiting, and a six-person table waiting. I was the third six-person table, and after waiting for a while, the first three-person table came in, and then there was another one. A regular customer saw that there was a table for ten people. He had already stood beside it, and then sat down. The second six-person table came in after that. I should be the third one. If there is any, It was my turn to sit on the middle table, and then there were four more people. I kept rushing in. The last one, Zhang Taidu, said hello to the boss and then found another seat and sat down. It doesn’t matter, I don’t know. The situation was like this: I saw another Bank of China counter that was already closed and I didn’t say a word. Then when I saw the person behind me wanted to enter again and followed me, I immediately made a sound. I told him that I should follow the counter. It's my turn.
