It's hard to find a good chippie in Toronto, but this place definitely is among the best in the east side... and arguably THE best!
Their shop itself is nothing special, but the friendly service by the family that owns it suffices to provide warmth and welcome.

A little hidden gem in Scarborough, if you are in the neighborhood or visiting Scarborough General and you are craving fish and chips, you need to stop here. Freshly made, crispy batter, nice fish. Chips are the traditional chunky soft fries (not like the pre-frozen fast food). One of the few "mom and pop" places left and well worth visiting.

Service was really good, incredibly friendly and welcoming. Food was great, loved the light batter on the halibut, haddock, scallops and shrimp. Beets had an interesting pickled flavor that cut through the fried food, good combination.
