Birria Tacos were delicious. They're Buy one get one 50% off special on Wed and Fri is awesome. Only comes out to around $33 after tax. Portions are huge as well. Definitely coming back!
I could not believe how authentic and good this place was. we found this place by accident. Safe to say it is not no gringo quality. This place really gives a ‘if you know, you know’ vibes. We got the Carne Asada taco the birria chilaquiles horchata and Tamarindo. Stuffed. Holy. I wish I could eat more.
We were looking for a Mexican restaurant so we tried this one since we were in the area. The front desk girl was very nice. We Got Birra taco special today on Wednesday but one get 2nd half price spent 35.00 . The tacos were not seasoned properly nor was it it hot. It tasted dry. Hard to chew. I have been to different Mexican restaurants. I really didn’t enjoy this one. I might not be coming back here again.
Amazing and authentic Mexican food at affordable prices and huge portions.
Pretty disappointing after hearing so many rave reviews about this place. We had Burrito Grande, a chicken al pastor Mexican Street Burrito, and Tres Leches cake.
The Burrito Grande was basically an enchilada... zero fillings besides the protein is an odd choice.
I was dying to try to the Mexican Street Burrito, but the chicken al pastor filling was dry, the cilantro was overwhelming, the cheese was nonexistent and there were barely any fries in it, which was the main selling point! I've had incredible French Tacos, which do the same thing vis-à-vis filling and fries, so it is certainly possible to do well and I was let down by this.
The Tres Leches cake was tasty, but really only moist in the middle.
All in all, I came away feeling like I wasted money, which is never great.
Chris Jerk was closed, so I tried Mexico Lindo for takeout instead. I was very impressed! I ordered chicken tacos, and for $20, they are very generous with portions and it feels home cooked. They double the corn tortilla for you, and they are generous with the sides (rice, salad, refried beans), and also with the salsas and sour cream. It was all delicious and not overly salty like eating out can sometimes get. I only wish I gave them a try earlier!
Good food, great service and was served pretty quick. Recommend the Birria
Finally, an authentic Mexican gem that feels like a culinary trip to Mexico!
Mexico Lindo is everything I’ve been searching for—owned and passionately run by a Mexican chef who truly honors the flavors of their homeland. No watered-down imitations here; every bite bursts with the vibrant, authentic taste I fell in love with during my travels.
The tacos? Absolute perfection. The tender, smoky meats, fresh handmade tortillas, and zesty salsas transported me straight back to the streets of Guadalajara. And the best part? The prices are shockingly affordable for such high-quality, lovingly prepared food.
It’s rare to find a place where tradition and passion meet value, but Mexico Lindo nails it. I’m already planning my next takeout order—this is my new go-to spot. Do yourself a favor and taste the real deal. Gracias for bringing a slice of Mexico to us🎉🇲🇽
Nothing special, food wasn't bad , prices are really good for 5 tacos, 18$
Ordered Birriya and al pastor. Great quantities, cultural ambience and people, great price. Felt a but (ive had tacos from California from mexican joints), great for a craving but the meat could be more flavorful? I’m definitely coming back for cravings!

Had the tacos and nachos. Super quick service. Very juicy and tasty.
Birria Tacos are great, most days.
Other tacos were kinda bland.
But hands down the best Horchata in the city, it's the main reason I keep coming back!
Man, what a hidden gem!
Worth the drive, if you don’t live close by, for the BEST birria tacos in the GTA. I’ve also tried Comal y Canela, and I love these ones even more.
They even have a special on Wednesdays and Fridays: buy one set of tacos and get the second 50% off.
Bring cash as you get an extra 5% off!
Food: Birria Tacos - 5/5 - I never give anything this rating. I don’t know if I was just really hungry, but these were the best tacos I’ve had in the GTA. Truly delicious and the birria sauce just hits the spot.
Carne Tacos - 3.8/5 - Still also really good and authentic, but compared to the Birria, probably wouldn’t get this again and just stick to the Birria.
Rice and beans - 4/5 - Tasty and authentic; it is what it is!
- The friendliest, cultural staff, with a smile on their face and happy to serve.
Ambiance - 5/5 - Reminded me of Mexico City… brought me back in time, really hit a sense of Nostalgia from one of my favourite places in the world.
Loved, loved, loved this place and can’t wait to go back!
The food is delicious. We've been eating here for many years. Sadly, the food has just gotten way too expensive.
Tasty food. I loved it
