First time I've visited this milestones, I wasn't a huge fan of the set up, too many seats to close together. But as per usual the food was great, there was a minor mixed up which was quickly remedied. Could use minor improvements, overall a good experience.

Happy hours $39 any 3 appetizers. We had calamari, chicken bites and spinach artichoke dip. It was very well done. Add seafood chowder and chicken alfredo. It easy an excellent dinner

We had an amazing experience at Milestones! Adrian took great care of us—he was incredibly polite, offered excellent food recommendations, and even surprised us with a sweet treat for our anniversary. The Crispy Shrimp Noodle Bowl was delicious, and the Blackened Chicken Tagliarini Pasta was absolutely sumptuous. We also enjoyed the Miami Ice mocktail, which was perfectly refreshing. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Milestones!

Food was delicious, fresh, hot, priced well during happy hour, and the customer service was outstanding from Nikai and the General Manager! Appreciated the complimentary dessert with a sparkler provided to celebrate my son's birthday.

Disappointing Experience for a Special Celebration

We visited Milestones at Scarborough Town Centre for an 80th birthday celebration and, unfortunately, the experience fell well below expectations.

🪑 Seating & First Impressions

We had a noon reservation — a normal time, not right at opening — yet the table was not properly prepared. Some chairs had visible food on them, which we had to clean ourselves, and while there were utensils, there weren’t enough for the number of people seated, showing a lack of attention to detail.

👩‍🍳 Service

Service was easily a 1–2 star experience. After being seated, we asked our server to give us two minutes to look at the menu; instead, she returned 15 minutes later.

On the positive side:

I asked if the kids' meals could come out quickly, and they did.

The kids’ meals themselves were brought promptly.

However, there were several misses:

The server never offered the included kids’ drinks, so we had to request them later — after the kids had already finished eating.

We also had to remind her that the kids' meals came with dessert.

Forcing an 18% minimum tip when the service quality is this inconsistent feels unreasonable, especially given how much the industry has struggled — good service should earn its tip, not mandate it.

🍽 Food

The food was also around 1–2 stars for us. Every adult dish had an issue:

Steaks: One steak had to be sent back for being undercooked. Instead of preparing a new one, it was simply cooked further. Whether that’s unhygienic or just poor practice, it isn’t what you expect at a sit-down restaurant. Another steak was also undercooked but served as-is.

Shakshuka (Brunch Menu): Bland, flavourless, and missing key ingredients — specifically the goat cheese, which is fundamental to the dish.

Kids’ Salmon: Both salmon dishes were undercooked in the center. I personally noticed it and was fine with it (as the kids ate around it), but most parents would rightfully be upset. Properly cooking fish for young children should not be optional.

🎂 Special Occasion

What made the experience particularly disappointing is that Milestones acknowledged the reservation was for an 80th birthday, but there was zero recognition of the occasion. No candle, no small gesture, nothing. For a milestone birthday — and at a restaurant known for celebrations — this felt especially careless.

🧾 Overall

Between the slow service, undercooked or incorrectly prepared food, lack of attention to detail, and no birthday acknowledgment, the experience was simply not what we hoped for.

Final Verdict:
⭐️⭐️ — We would not return unless absolutely necessary. The restaurant industry may be struggling, but basic service, food safety, and attention to detail should still matter.

We have been to this location several times, this family get-together was on mine and my grandson's birthday early dinner.
Great friendly services from the front counter and staff on the floor was also very welcoming and looking after every customer very professionally.
Food was delicious, icing on the top, served birthday dessert on the house for Grandfather and Grandson.
Thank you for making our special event delightful 😊
Highly recommended to visit and enjoy their food and services.

My girlfriend & I went in yesterday for lunch. Food was decent, service was slow.

However, there was a 22% gratuity on my bill for two people. After she dropped the bill & machine & disappeared. She came just for a second to pick up the machine & go. On my way out I ask another staff member if gratuity is applied. But he said that it’s only applied for groups of eight or more. I had guessed as much as I also work at a restaurant. we were in a hurry so we just left.

I had edited this review as manager reached out to email them the specifics but months later they are yet to reply back to me. Lack of great customer service goes to all management levels.

Food and service were really good. The methane gas smell the entire time was not pleasant. It was really not very nice.
