Tried this place out for the first time mid April and went back twice more within a week. The food has been constantly good and the friendly staff are ready to serve with a smile.I ordered the Karam Masala Dosa two out of the three visits and was floored both times. This place won’t disappoint, a must must try.Prices and portions are more than fair.

I don’t usually write reviews but the experience my friends and I had at this restaurant definitely warranted one.The service: It is something that is such an important aspect of dining out which completes the overall experience and can even outweigh the taste of the food. You could tell that the restaurant really cared about providing genuine service which proudly represents the warmth and care of the South Indian culture ❤️ The food: The food was prepared fresh with good quality ingredients. I read on their menu that they do not use any artificial flavouring or colouring in their food which is always a concern with other restaurants. I’m obsessed with the Punugulu. Their dosas were very crisp which is how we requested it. (You can asked them to prepare it soft) Their podi idli, although the podi is not how I’m used to eating, was good. (Podi preference could be biased since it’s different from how my South Indian bestie’s mom makes it. Which is what I’m used to) Their sambar does not have the typical restaurant taste but a more home cooked taste which is what I like anyways. (They also mentioned on their menu that their recipes have a homemade flavour, hence the homely taste) The food to chutney ratio is very generous. I don’t dip but drown my food with chutney and I still left with a ramekin of their peanut chutney that was left over which my brother eat as soon as I got home. Lol. And he is not a fan of South Indian food so you can tell that their food tastes amazing! The sugarcane juice and mango lassi were very refreshing. The price: We felt like we ate so much but our bill was wayyy less than what we would spend at other places. This is now my go-to spot for South Indian food cravings. One of our servers mentioned that they will soon be opening a location in the West and honestly, it’s high time the West has a restaurant that actually tastes good without all the unnecessary hype!Ps: The steam rising from the dosas was a testament to their freshness; unfortunately, we devoured our food too quickly for more photos! ?

Saturday lunch buffet is wonderful! Lots of selection. Fresh dosas made to order and delivered to your table! Includes free mango lassi and ginger chai. $23+tax is good value.

We arrived just before a dinner rush, service was naturally busy - they did attend to us. The food was a huge disappointment. Our family wanted to try a little bit of everything, poori, dosa, a specialty dosa, and Veg Manchurian and rice. Chutneys were watery, spices and seasonings were off, like they didn't know what they were doing – not worth the prices. The veg manchurian was $13.99 and it was tiny for a standalone dish without rice included, and it tasted like cheap hot sauce. The dosas were tasteless. We also ordered a mango lassi that never came. If you want good South Indian food, I suggest you look elsewhere.Vegetarian options: This is an all-veg restaurant, though not on the list of best...at all.

I have had dosai all over the world, i can safely say this was one of the worst rated. It was dry, lack lustre and weird after taste. Do yourself a favor and ask your amma to make it instead. I ordered the paneer butter, the paneer was shredded not cooked no spices added. The curries and chutney was old, stale tasting. Completely lacked love. If you are going to charge $12 (it makes 10 cents to make) it better be good. Service was so weirdly slow, we had 5 at the table everyone got their meal at different times with a 5 min gap in between.Waste of money not a fan

I visited this location today on my friends recommendation and this place was absolutely DELIGHTFUL!!! ? The owner and the staff very accommodating, and created an ambiance that has motivated me to visit again very soon. ?They were patient with our questions about the menu and ensured we had great experience. I appreciated the genuine South Indian flavours, that I have been craving for over 5 years now. Special kudos to the owner and welcoming service! ???

Bad customer service. Food was served very late ~50 mins. Also they served someone else’s order to us, gave us Podi masala dosa instead of masala dosa and didn’t even apologize and just bluntly said you wait and don’t take it. Overall poor management and don’t value your time. People if you have young kids please avoid coming here due to the time factor. Also the food taste wasn’t that great. Average taste dosas and chutneys tasted stale and not fresh. Sambar was watery.

Just so that people don’t think it’s a fake review, I decided to give 4 stars out of five, although I loved everything about this restaurant. We called for Mirchi bajji, Dahi vada, punugulu, and poori bhaji. All of them were good. Since I live on the other side of GTA, visiting this place wouldn’t be that convenient, but would definitely come back if I’m in this vicinity.Good going Minerva Tiffins!! Keep up the quality.

Yummy South Indian food. I haven’t eaten from a buffet in years but we were here on a Saturday morning and it looked good so we tried it. Great way to try many South Indian standards. Fresh dosa brought to the table, chai and mango lassi also included. Waiter brought fresh poori to our table when they were running low. Highly recommend if you are adventurous and in Toronto.
