Seen several posts about it so I drove across the city to give it a try!! Very lovely ladies serving so o feel bad for giving not a great review but I have to tell the truth! I bought a muesli bread and it was ok, not cheap really! I’ve had much better bread from other bakeries at the same price! The hotdog and hamburger buns were definitely cheat at $2 for 6 but nothing special! I got the blueberry danish and although good price at $2, tasted “eggy”! So over all there are some cheap goodies but nothing special! Will I go again? Likely not! Much better bakeries in the city!!Did I say the ladies serving were lovely? :)

Love this bakery. It was my go-to bakery when I used to live in Toronto and I still make the effort to drop by this place whenever I am passing by Toronto. The only issue the goodies get sold out quickly, so you have to be here before noon! It is always a pleasure to be greeted by their long-timer staff Rosemary. Love her sense of humor and the extra mile she goes to provide a fabulous experience. Just picked up $100 worth of items to take back with me to Kingston, ON to share with my neighbors!!

Although I do not have a sweet tooth, I love when my wife send me to Montmartre Bakery to get her danishes. The people are very nice and both their Pizza dough and breads are amazing. Best of all is Rosemary at the danish counter. She is efficient and fun to talk to. She always brings a smile to my face, even when all the danishes are gone. Love this place
