A pleasant family run breakfast lunch spot that is not part of a chain.

Need a break from the sun when you're cycle along the waterfront? Fruit Punch Slushies and Iced Coffee were refreshing and the café had positive vibez. Thank you.

One of the best Ice Coffees I've ever had. Perfect for this sunny day.

Popped in here for a quick pastry and coffee. Alice and Phillip were super nice and welcoming, even if they were about to close in 15min. Most places are rushing you out the door when its that close to closing. Ambiance is great. Will definitely be back here.

Honestly quite a pricey cafe for what you get. 50 cents upcharge per veggie on my bagel, bringing a simple menu item to almost $10! The drink prices on the chalkboard don’t reflect what they actually charge you, I paid $7 for a basic medium iced coffee.

I stopped by recently and found the place to be cozy and inviting. The customer service was generally fine, though I did feel a bit pressured at the counter. I asked for an egg bagel with avocado as an add-on which I was happy to pay for but was told that wasn’t possible. Instead, I was told I had to order an avocado sandwich and add egg, which didn’t quite make sense, especially since the egg bagel was around $3 and the avocado sandwich was over $8.

The coffee was freshly brewed, but unfortunately, it had a strong burnt aftertaste. My double espresso also had visible residue, which further affected the overall experience.

Today I went to Mr. Bean's coffee shop and it was not what I expected. I went in there for a sweet treat for some cookies, but they ended up being the most flattest cookies I've ever seen and tasted horrid. I feel bad for writing this because they are a small business, however I wish to be transparent with any future customers and the staff. I knew they are trying their best, however the cookies need a new recipe and the sweets need labels since the staff who was helping me couldn't understand what I was asking for. I got some ginger bread cookies, and they were the worst and stalest gingerbread cookies I have ever eaten. The hot food may or may not be better, I haven't tried that yet, and neither will I in the future. Also. I paid 16 dollars for 5 flat and stale, and in general bad cookies. The whole shop was very overpriced. Do Better.

This iced oat latte was not good at all… and it was $9… $9 for a latte that tastes almost like an iced black coffee but the flavour of the coffee was bad and burnt (didn’t taste like there was espresso shots in here.. tasted like brewed coffee), the oat milk is not great and barely any milk even though it’s a latte so it should be mainly milk, the espresso in the iced latte quickly melted the ice which isn’t how it should be

Very nice customer service think it's the owner. Really nice patio spot. The garage door opens out in summer from what it looks like. Nice decor. There are lots of options to eat. Good dark roast drip coffee. Cute little spot a bit hidden in a plaza but close to waterfront trails so it's a nice refreshing stop.
