Was wandering around the plaza and ended up at this cute little eatery where ookinza use to reside. The decor inside gives off Japanese vibes serving up Korean dishes. The dine in is counter seating. - Cute set up. The taste is definitely not your typical Korean soup spices but the pork bone was definitely fall off the bone and tender which some Korean places serve it very dry. The spicy fish and veggie soup was also different as the fish used I believe it’s snakehead where other places usually have that thick cut white fish which is meh. So I really enjoyed it. Definitely don’t set the expectation as authentic Korean dishes for these two dishes in terms of taste because it’s quite different. The pork bone soup had a lot of garlic in it but something about the soup base gave me sukiyaki flavours. The fish soup was slightly different as well but also can’t narrow down what it reminds me off but that one gave some Chinese spin to it. Although different I’d say it’s unique and good in their own way, I’d go back for their grilled meat options next time. For service there is a girl who takes your order and also the one that brings you food and periodically comes by to check on you. Very friendly. Lastly, you can purchase a membership for a year for $10 and it’s basically half price on their prices. -Totally worth it.

terrible hand rolls, just go to maki mart

This is probably the worst sushi roll I ever ate, flavourless and fishy, just save your money and go to Foody Mart right beside. Their sushi is even better!

I ask specific for cooked salmon and the cashier lady told me Maki are raw fish and Onigiri are cooked fish so I purchased 3 Onigiri. To my disappointment the Onigiri turned out to be raw salmon and I cannot eat anything raw at this moment. I had to throw them away and wasted money just because the staff didn't care or have no knowledge about the products she is selling!

Maki Momo is the sister restaurant for Kin Kin Oka Ne (previously OoKinza) with the concept of serving delicious hand rolls & donburi bowls!!

The team is so nice and sweet, I love coming to both restaurants! You can dine in or take out some delicious rolls, onigiri & dons 😊

PS, they’re having a buy 3 get 1 free promo right now!

Found this new maki roll place @ Bamburg Circle Makimomo Buy 3 get 1 free was a pretty good deal. The fish was mix with the rice in the roll. Love the crunch with the spice of wasabi and Soya Sauce ! My kids love it and their snacks 🤤. I definitely go back again !! Also love their takeout bag. Reminds me of the dior bag

My first experience here. Seems like a chilling place to be. Gf and I grabbed something new to try out. All prepacked but wasn't too bad.

After reading the reviews I was quite concerned and hesitant at first. However, a friend of mine mentioned how they've recently went and noticed it's not as unpleasant as it was. I gave it a second thought and went ahead to try it out. I am most certain it definitely doesn't taste as bad as the comments had said. I cannot say they're the best in the world or within toronto at least, but you do get what you pay for I'd have to say. None the less I'd give it a 5 for trying.

Hosted a recent birthday party for my god daughter and friends. All were set up promptly, easy for the kids to look for what they prefer, better choice and healthier than pizza or fried chicken after all they are fish. Lovit ❤️🙏🏼
