This used to be one of our go too’s and suddenly everything has turned bad. It was bad customer service and on top of that for one pack of sambol that wasn’t even pack full and they charged $2 + tax. It’s overpriced and horrible quality with bad customer service.

Delicious hopers and Great Service! Hopper Hut never disappoints. The food is always fresh, flavourful, and perfectly made. Their hoppers taste truly authentic. Friendly staff and a warm atmosphere make every visit enjoyable. Highly recommend!

⭐☆☆☆☆ Not What It Used to Be – Hopper Flop!
Went to Hopper Hut hoping for a good Sri Lankan meal, but it turned out to be a major letdown. 😤🍛
I’ve been here before, and it used to be decent — but now? Totally gone downhill. The staff were rude and rushing everyone, even though the place wasn’t busy. I barely had time to read the menu before the guy at the counter was already getting annoyed. No patience, no welcome, just “Next! What do you want?” 🙄
Ordered hoppers, kothu, and mutton curry — everything tasted either bland, cold, or reheated. The hoppers were dry, the egg was overcooked, and the sambol had no freshness at all. Kothu was full of oil and zero spice or flavor. 🫥 For a place known for authentic taste, this was straight-up tasteless.
The worst part? Hair in the curry. 🤮 I showed it to the staff — they just looked at me and said, “It happens sometimes.” No refund, no apology, just attitude. That’s disgusting and unprofessional.
Also, the dining area was dirty, sticky tables, and flies buzzing around. The whole vibe was unhygienic and uncomfortable. 🪰
Prices have gone up, but the quality has gone way down. Not worth the money, the gas, or the upset stomach.
If you’re looking for real Sri Lankan food, go somewhere else. This place is living off its old reputation, and it’s clear they’ve stopped caring.
It is not the best quality/taste food. There was a long wait as well. Plenty of parking available.

What kind of restaurant lies about being open when they are closed. I ordered food, they accepted, and never received it because they were closed by the time I got there. Even told ubereats they were still open. If they are able to be like this so nonchalant I definitely would not trust the food!

I bought a mutton roti for $4.50. The food tasted like old curry and was sour. Even though I was very hungry, the food was so bad I couldn’t enjoy it. I will never go back again. Please stop selling old food—people come when they are hungry and expect fresh, good meals. Very disappointed.food is 0 star.
