Nirala Sweets and Restaurant is a popular spot for breakfast and lunch in Toronto. The menu offers a variety of Pakistani dishes, including Halwa Puri, Nihari, and naan bread. The Lamb Paya and Nihari are notable mentions, offering a taste reminiscent of Lahore. The Mango Lassi and Tea are also excellent. Visitors praise the generous portions and flavorful food, making it a gem in the city.
The Halwa Puri is particularly praised for being perfect, indulged in ghee, while the Nihari is noted for its right spices. The Butter Chicken Poutine is a unique twist on a classic Canadian dish, featuring crispy fries topped with tender butter chicken and creamy gravy. Customers also highly recommend the sesame seed naan and the Chana salan, which are described as absolutely delicious.
The staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere for both family gatherings and casual meals. The restaurant's sweets are a highlight, with perfectly balanced, rich in taste, and beautifully presented offerings.
