Visited first time on my brothers Haji Haroon recommendation. Food was really good more than my expectations, sesame seed naan is a MUST try .

We went here this past Saturday around 1PM for a late halwa puri breakfast. The restaurant was packed and the wait time was about 25 minutes. Since we had to get somewhere else too we couldn't wait that long but I had read a lot of positive things about their halwa puri, so I really wanted to try it. We ended up getting takeaway of 1 halwa puri platter and a karak chai. Upon trying the first bite of their Chana salan and puri, I could tell why there were so many positive reviews! The chanay were absolutely delicious and I devoured half my puri so fast. Then it was time to try the halwa.. and my oh my!! It was AMAZING! Possibly the best sooji ka halwa I've ever had! The flavour was mouthwateringly delicious! Their chai was great too! I can't wait to go back to have the halwa puri again with more of my family!

I had such a wonderful experience at Nirala Sweet and Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious – full of authentic flavor, fresh, and served with care. Their sweets are a highlight – perfectly balanced, rich in taste, and beautifully presented.

Very good Indian food. My family does take out for gatherings. We order veal briyani brain masala and tandoori chicken. Very delicious and good portion.

What a gem in Toronto!
The desi breakfast here is absolutely on point—the flavors linger on your taste buds and leave you craving more. This was my second visit during my second trip to Canada, and it has already become a must-stop spot for my family and me whenever we are in town.

We ordered Nihari, Haleem, and Paya with naan bread, along with lassi. The Nihari and Haleem were outstanding, while the Paya was decent. Their naan bread, though, is truly exceptional—it instantly reminded me of authentic Pakistani food back home.

The restaurant is extremely popular and both times I visited, we had to wait about an hour for a table. There were even people waiting in their cars for a chance to dine in. Since we were a big group, we had to sit at two separate tables due to the rush, but it was definitely worth the wait.

The owner was present as well and warmly welcomed guests, which added a personal touch to the whole experience. Overall, this place is a must-try for anyone craving authentic desi flavors in Toronto. I’ll definitely be going back again!

Assalaam o alaikum
I visited The restaurant on first of September, 2025. I had a very bad experience . I want to say that the owner of the restaurant has such a lot of arrogance and is not at all courteous towards his customers. Since the restaurant is busy so we decided to go early. We were three and there was another group of three guests. The time was 8:55 am , the other three guests entered the restaurant , so we three too followed them. We were utterly surprised when the uncouth , uncultured owner of the restaurant ( money and fame doesn’t make everyone humble) told us to step out of the restaurant saying that the opening timing of the restaurant is 9 am even though when we entered it was precisely 8:57 am .

If the timing of opening is at 9 am then he should not keep the door open rather he should lock the door and not insult the customers by telling them to go out .
Since we travelled from far and had no choice , otherwise I would have been the last person to enter this restaurant.

Very very Bad and disappointed service, I am waiting 31 minutes for table for single person and they serve others peoples who comes with family, if you don't serve single person so tell before, why wasting the time and ask for wait ?
