This location has a serious staff issue. I called 3 times around 12:30am (on October 22nd) only to have the calls ignored. Finally placed an order through Skip. Went to pick it up and the store is nearly empty (1 customer placing their order) with 1 staff taking orders and the other staff chatting with her friends.

The guy gets my order, after getting back home, this is what I received (see pic). A meager portion of chicken and rice. I asked for mild hot sauce and the guy put a tiny little blob on the corner of the food. The rice is rock and the chicken is burnt.

Osmows used to be known for their service and quality food with decent portions. I will never be returning to this location or Osmows in general. This isn’t my only bad experience at this location…

Train your staff better. Ask them to stop chatting with their friends, pick up the phone, and put some effort in your service.

If I could give this location 0 stars, I absolutely would that’s how bad the customer service was. This happened around 2 in the morning. We asked for the Beef Shawarma that was clearly shown on the menu screen, and the employee rudely said, “Oh, we don’t make that,” while yelling and speaking in a very disrespectful tone. There’s absolutely no reason to be talking to customers this way it’s disgusting and completely unprofessional. Even if there was some kind of misunderstanding, that’s no excuse for such behaviour.

On top of that, when I ordered the Chicken Shawarma instead, I specifically asked for a regular amount of hot sauce, but they put way more than usual almost like it was done on purpose. The chicken was dry, the food was disgusting, and the whole experience was beyond disappointing. The manager or supervisor seriously needs to address the staff’s attitude and how they treat customers. Overall, a terrible experience. I definitely won’t be coming back.

I went to this store asked Philly shawarma beef it’s on the menu screen and I asked who ever serve me at cashier and the employees are very rude not a great service.Also the wrap I got taste like rude employee this place need to take action it’s joke business food is bad. On screen menu have beef shawarma and everything and they can’t make it why they put beef shawarma in the menu if they can’t make at this Markham location never ever going back this place . People beware . Customer service disappointing need more training for the staff how to talk to customer. Not like rude and yell. Good luck . ( I got chicken shawarma instead beef disgusting very dry they doing the job like they don’t care).

Scammy and unprofessional – charging for things they don’t serve!

I stopped by Osmo Shawarma (1780 Markham Rd) around 9:50 AM and paid extra for garlic sauce on my shawarma. After paying, I saw the guy didn’t even put the extra on. When I asked, he said they only had half a bottle left and needed to “save it for other customers.”

So basically, they’re taking money for extras they know they can’t serve — and not even telling customers until after payment. He even admitted that online customers paying extra won’t get it either because they’re short on sauce. That’s just dishonest.

If you can’t provide what people are paying for, don’t charge for it. It’s called basic integrity. I was told a new shipment was coming at 10:30 AM — so just 30 minutes later — but still refused to make it right.

Absolutely disappointing experience. Avoid this location until they learn what proper customer service and honesty mean.

Worst service only girl working on busy night serving cold food this place takes full amount its was disgusting full amount cold food not fault or the server its managment who left her alone and no one to help line up wait for food and get cold food
