Ordered a wonton soup recently, it was so over salted I could not eat it, and I like salty foods! Inedible, and a total waste of money

Pho Saigon on Eglinton in Scarborough continues to deliver an authentic Vietnamese dining experience that keeps us coming back. The house beef noodle soup is always the highlight, with a broth that is rich, aromatic, and layered with the kind of depth that only comes from hours of careful simmering. The combination of tender slices of beef, beef balls, fresh herbs, and onions makes every spoonful deeply satisfying. It tastes just like pho in Vietnam, with that balance of comfort and freshness that makes the dish so iconic.
The Vietnamese spring rolls are another favorite and they never disappoint. Perfectly crispy on the outside and flavorful on the inside, they are served with fresh lettuce and dipping sauce that bring out the authentic taste. The rolls are light yet indulgent, making them an excellent starter or companion to the pho. Eating them here feels like being in a local Vietnamese spot, where the food is made with care and tradition in mind.
On this visit, I also had the pork chop, and although I missed taking a photo, it deserves a mention. The meat was well marinated, grilled with that distinct Vietnamese flavor, and served in a way that reminded me of family-style meals back home. The staff at Pho Saigon are always warm and attentive, making the experience even better. From the food to the atmosphere, everything feels genuine and welcoming. This is the kind of place that makes you feel at home, and without a doubt, we will always come

What a lovely place! Not only was the food absolutely amazing and fresh, but we only had to spend about 20 CAD per person (there were four of us, a family)! We ordered an assortment of dishes, with my personal favorite being the house special pho. Also, the service was great, too! The servers were nice and the cashier was also so kind and even checked up on our overall experience. They also gave out free candy after the meal. Definitely coming back again!

Very good service the owner is very nice. The food was delicious. Have no complaints. Had a very good experience with my mother.

I usually enjoy coming to this Vietnamese restaurant—it’s one of my favorites, and although it’s quite far from where I live, I make the effort to stop by when I can. The food has always been good, and my past experiences with the staff have been mostly positive.

However, during my visit in February 2025, I had an uncomfortable and disappointing encounter with one of the female servers. I was dining alone that day and ordered a small pho, a grilled chicken rice platter, and an extra box to go. To my shock, the server made a comment like, “OMG, are you going to eat all that?”—a remark that felt incredibly unprofessional and judgmental.

I want to make it clear that comments like this have no place in customer service. It made me feel self-conscious and disrespected, and I was honestly stunned that someone would say that to a customer. I still left a tip because the male server was kind and courteous, but that moment left a lasting bad impression.

I didn’t bring it up with the owner or the cashier (who I believe is the owner's daughter), because I didn’t want to cause a scene—especially since it was a tax-free day—but I truly wish I had. I’ve always recommended this spot to family and friends, but after that experience, I no longer feel comfortable dining here. I won’t be returning until something is done about this issue.

Great food should never come at the cost of disrespectful service.
