You’ll find a lot of filling and little wrapper in their deep-fried spring rolls ($6 for two). With the delicate skin and ample filling, the spring rolls have a light juicy quality that makes you want to have a second. Maybe I can’t share these anymore.

Hulking beef bones are now the rage at Vietnamese restaurants. Pho Thanh Cong’s beef rib pho ($22) arrives with two decently sized bones as well as a handful of shaved beef. There’s a lot of toppings so you won’t be left with a bowl filled with noodles.

And while the beef ribs don’t have a lot of flavours on its own, the restaurant offers a lot of condiments including three types of hot sauce and garlic slivers. After creating a sauce of hoisin, garlic chili, and garlic slivers and slathering it onto the ribs, they were delicious.

The rare beef and brisket rice noodle soup ($17 for medium) also has a hefty portion of protein. Although the rare beef was very lean so some diners may find it tough. Still, the broth was full of flavour and perfectly seasoned, so much so that I could enjoy the pho without any condiments. Sometimes it’s nice to just savour the beef broth and herbs sprinkled throughout.

This newly opened Vietnamese noodle place, amongst all other ones that have opened, is a bit disappointing.

Came here on a Wed afternoon and we were the only table. Which probably was a sign of warning that I didn't head. The decor is decent and they removed the mid column that used to be present from the old owners.

We order the house special pho and a crab noodle. The whole special is a bit oily than normal pho and not a lot of meat came with it , While the soup for the crab noodle tasted fairy watered down, and even though it said crab, ah don't really find a hint of it. Overall would not recommend as the pricing is aligned with the other famous pho restaurant but the quality doesn't match up

Thought we'd try this place and was a bit disappointed. The decor is nice and service was fast. The person serving was also quite nice, polite and attentive.

The disappointing part was the actual food. We ordered the house pho special and the grilled chicken and pork vermicelli with spring rolls. We also got an iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk.

For the vermicelli, the meat didn't really have the feeling that it was grilled and the sauce that comes with the vermicelli was on the lighter side. The spring roll that came with it was ok - cooked well but just not to my taste.

The house pho special was only ok. The soup had good flavour, but the dish didn't come with as much meat as you'd expect from a dish that cost closer to 20 dollars.

The iced coffee was probably the most disappointing. It didn't seem to be drip coffee - it came quickly and was already mixed, which probably meant it didn't have time to be drip. There wasn't enough condensed milk and after a while, the drink tasted a little off. It could just be what I'm used to from other places but it just was not good on my end.

The weekend special was good and differs from the stand pho and rice. However, the pho portion is not as big as some of the other restaurants, and their soup is on the lighter side.
Overall food is not bad, very good service.

Their beef soup is lighter than others, brand new bowls, other than these, everything else is just average. 50/50 chance of repeat.

We used to come here when it was the good old Beef Noodles House, and after they closed down, we were wondering what would take over. Then I saw someone posted on social media that they went to a place with the best Vietnamese spring rolls in Toronto, and so I checked and discovered that it’s where Beef Noodle House was.

We decided to give it a try. They’re running some specials and by spending $25, you get a free order of spring rolls. They truly did not disappoint. They were the best Vietnamese spring rolls we’ve had in a very long time: crispy, fresh, and delicious, unlike many which are mostly hard and tough and hurt your mouth.

We also ordered a chicken Pad Thai, which is not only delicious, but also resembles those you can find in Thailand. The crab noodle soup has real crap fat and it’s not salty as in many other places though it could be a bit more savoury.

We’re very happy with the service. The server (probably owner) was very friendly and helpful, unlike in other Vietnamese restaurants. We were also given a 10% off. It’s a pity that it’s so quiet on a Friday evening. They should do more promotion.

We will return and try some of their other dishes.

Very empty restaurant on a Sunday early afternoon which was surprising at first… but can see why after eating. Food was VERY bland… everything was lacking flavour.

Spring rolls were fine. But let's talk about the pho.
Very bland and had lack of flavor. Wheres the taste of the star anise? The cinnamon? The beefy flavor? Had 0 notes of any flavor at all.
Would I order from here again? No I wouldn't, much better options in the area.

The price is slightly better than other new Vietnamese restaurants in the area, but that's about it. The pho was not up to par at the price point that you are paying. The broth is pretty bland and not as rich, although the noodles were good. Same thing with the bun; the chicken is not seasoned enough to bring out the flavour. Spring roll is good though. I might come visit again once there are some improvements.
