I've lived next to Pili Pili since it opened and only just discovered it over the last year and I totally regret not trying the food here sooner! It's consistently delicious and something I truly look forward to. I always order the ribs, chicken and beef mishkaki, mogo, fries kebab and samosas - the meats dishes are moist, tender and absolutely delicious but I have to put a spotlight on the ribs! Oh-m-gee! The owner is super friendly and always gives an honest recommendation on quantity. As for portion sizes: they are very healthy and no skimping!

We took out lunch today, and just WOW. Try the ribs and fries, the samosas and the bread. Everything was incredibly fresh and the tastes were a first. Highly recommend!

This is a nice, clean East African take-out restaurant. Staff are very organized and your food is ready when they say it will be ready (I hate having to wait more than 5 minutes). Ordered a couple of their grilled platters on different days and they tasted great both times. Top marks for consistency. Love their short ribs and chicken. Their spicy chutney that comes on the side is amazing. Everything tasted as I hoped it would. They have weekly and weekend specials which they advertise on their instagram page. Not sure why it took me so long to try this place, but I will be coming by more often.

Best African food in Canada! Highly recommend the Kari Kabob and mogo. If you plan ahead you may even get your hands on their INCREDIBLE turkey samosas!

Loved the food. Had ribs and half chicken, both were really good and cooked to perfectionm They cut the chicken in pieces so the seasonsing and flavours are felt throughout. The dips which come along also blends in well and the seasoning on fries is amazing.May be the ribs part could be more meaty but no compalin, we still enjoyed it thoroughly.

Delicious East African food!Had the Ribs, Cassava Fries and Mandazi (fried bread)Ribs were delicious. The powder for the fries was amazing. Had an amazing sourness to it. Loved the sauces that came along too.Fried bread was a bit too dry and doughy.

Absolutely the BEST East African charcoal grilled meats. Chicken servings are more generous than others. The plantains are worth the trip alone. Service is friendly and as efficient as can be considering COVID restrictions. It is becoming my weekly go-to for take-out food.

First time here today. We were looking for samosas and this place came up. This isn't a typical east Asian samosas restaurant, these are actually east African kind. Along with samosas (beef) we got some beef ribs and yucca fries. We also got some sauces to go. Red hot sauce is actually hot lol. Really enjoyed the samosas and the ribs. Beef samosas were well filled with beef and onion. I'm a s***** for yucca fries but I did feel they are a bit thick and therefore a bit dry, the sauces absolutely help but I would prefer them just a tad thinner. Either way really cool first time experience and we are looking forward to trying other things from here. When you drive here it's right on the corner in huge letters, but when you park there really aren't any signs for it. It shares a building with a Nigerian restaurant, so you gotta walk around the building to get to the door. Service is great, the guy that was helping us out is very social and helpful. He knew just by looking at us that it's our first time (lol) and made it super easy to figure out what's what.

We had the Mishkaki and short ribs for dinner. It was very tender and flavourful. The whole family enjoyed the meal.
