Tried the Tropical BBQ Heat at Pita Pit and loved it! I substituted the pork with chicken, and the sweet-spicy combo with grilled pineapple was perfect for summer.
Pita Pit is super customizable — I got mine as a bowl, but you can choose a pita or salad too. Their smoothies are made with real fruit and taste really fresh.
Also tried a Chicken Bruschetta from their Created 4 You menu.
Love that it’s Canadian, flavour-packed, and offers a great rewards program through the MORE! app. It's definitely worth a visit!

Ordered from Uber Eats. Today is the third time of the orders for this two weeks. It was tasted good. However the pita size became smaller and smaller. Just The beginning of Uber BOGO prom, I bought pitas that was amazing size big as regular sized. Then the second ordered pitas smaller a bit. Today the thirds ordered pitas were only the regular size 2/3 minuses. After eating a pita and two falafel, I still needed to eat something else. No good, will not order any more from pita pits. If I want to eat pita I still will that I will walk 800 meters to pita lite to get from there.

I have been to this location a few times now. All the staff I have encountered have always been extremely pleasant and the food has been delicious. My pita is always loaded up with a generous amount of toppings.

I decided I wanted to start eating.more healthy due to a diabetic diagnosis. So I went to Pita Pit on Kennedy and Progress, next to the Petro Canada gas station. I ordered a large salad. Gyro meat wirh extra meat and avocado etc. The guy prepping my food literally seemed like he was counting the amount of cubes of tomatoes, green peppers and cucumbers he was putting in my bowl. It was a pinch of each. I don't know about you but if I'm paying for something I expect to get a decent serving. Then to put the icing on the cake he took a fork and scraped the crud (no exaggeration) from the empty avocado 🥑 bowl and put it on the edge of my salad bowl. He didn't even have the decency to get me any from their stock. I wasn't even worth that as a customer. This guy should be fired. Like completely fired. That was my last meal from Pita Pit on Kennedy. Their food really tastes good but this kind of service is reprehensible. Never again. Never never again. To the owners if you're reading this. Get better people to work in your establishment. This has left a bitter taste in my mouth. Expensive lesson learnt. Should have kept my money
We stopped in for take-out lunch. Nice clean place, fresh, hot food, Very friendly and helpful staff! Delicious rice bowls with shawarma and falafel.!!!
