The filling in the Patishapta was gone sour. Other stuffs that were purchased (Mug pakan, Puli pitha, Bundia) were old, hard to chew and smelling like old-used-oil. Couldn’t finish eating any of them.

Went there with excitement to try Pithas, but not seeing myself visiting again.

The Nokishi Pitha is THE best~! It’s an absolute perfection with its smell of deeply fried rice flour and the way it’s crunchy yet soft and pleasantly sweet. Love at first bite~ 🥰

It’s always so lovely to be here and to see all the beautiful snacks and sweets. The staff are very friendly. All the pithas are so yummy~

Served me rotten mishti doi (sweet yoghurt). Whats ironic is i even asked the owner if was made fresh that day and he said it was.

Should have know better as the store is absolutely filthy.

Ok place. Food isn't so good. But Very pricey compare to the food.

I found hair in their food called Murali.
Besides I bought Jilepi during Ramadan, they gave me old Jilepi.
Stay away from this shop, it is not right to cheat people and do business.

I visited পিঠা ঘর on Monday afternoon (March 3.2025) at 1:45 PM to purchase some Jilepi. Upon arrival, the lady at the counter greeted us. We noticed two boxes of Jilepi on display and asked if they were freshly made that day. We even mentioned that we didn’t mind waiting if they weren’t fresh. She assured us that they were made the same day, so we trusted her, especially during Ramadan, when honesty is expected.

However, when we had the Jilepi for iftar, it was immediately clear from the very first bite that it was from the previous day. We were both disappointed and shocked at the dishonesty over an $8 box of Jilepi.

To the lady at the counter—if the Jilepi was from the previous day, you could have simply told us the truth instead of misleading your customers. Honesty builds trust, and your actions were not only disappointing but also a disgrace to our community. I hope পিঠা ঘর values integrity more in the future.

Amazing new find. Hidden gem. Tasted Shami kebab. Out of world taste.

For paying by credit card they charged me extra $3.50. lol. Usually its $0.25 or $0.50. They charged me way extra. Don't know they know the calculation or they cheating with people or fraud.

Food was not bad. Average. Nothing fancy or exceptional.

We went to get some sweets and my wife got sweets from them as well as yogurt cup, She didn’t double checked the quality of the yogurt and it turned out to be very old. Later I went back and asked them what’s going on, the owner didn’t even apologize, she straight said by mistaken we handed over the old one before replacing with new one, I am not sure why would you keep old and expired product for sell at the last minute and sell it to customer? This is very bad business, I attached the picture for everyone attention and be careful when you chose to purchase anything from them.
