Unacceptable customer service.
I arrived at this Pizza Hut at 11:45 PM, and Google clearly shows the restaurant closes at 12:00 AM. I was seen by a female employee from inside, and instead of helping or explaining anything, she immediately locked the door while I was standing there.

This was extremely rude and unprofessional. If you advertise that you’re open until midnight, customers should not be locked out 15 minutes before closing without any explanation. Very disappointing experience at 592 Ellesmere Rd, Scarborough, ON (M1R).

Worst quality of food and zero level of customer service. They tell their customers not to come back if you don’t like it . Our pizza is too oily we just informed them to take care of it but in return they disrespect us by saying don’t come to them 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I had a very disappointing experience at this Pizza Hut location. I ordered one pizza, and it was extremely oily. When I politely mentioned this to the staff member who prepared it, he responded rudely and told me not to come back next time.

This is unacceptable customer service. I hope management addresses both the food quality and the behavior of the staff so that other customers don’t have the same experience.

We were having the lunch buffet and decided to redeem our points for one medium pizza to bring home for my brother. I had 16 points and used 5 to redeem it. The manager, Joel or “JoJo,” immediately started questioning how we were even able to redeem the pizza. He asked what number I used and then requested if I had “another number” that he could check, before accusing us of being scammers for using our points.

He kept insisting that I was a “new customer” and questioned how I could redeem a reward. I explained multiple times that I’m not a new customer and that I’ve been coming to this location for over a decade with my family.

I showed him my app and the email confirmation, which should have been more than enough proof. Instead, he continued to argue with us for over 15 minutes, insisting it “didn’t make sense” and repeating that this is what “scammers” do. As anyone would, I started getting frustrated, and he actually said, “If you’re not scamming, you wouldn’t get mad.” That was incredibly disrespectful and dismissive.

When we asked for his name and corporate contact information, he brushed us off with, “Good luck complaining.”

This location was chosen specifically for sentimental reasons as it was my partner’s birthday and they wanted something familiar and nostalgic. After more than a decade of being a loyal customer, it was extremely disappointing to leave feeling embarrassed, accused, and disrespected. What was supposed to be a special, nostalgic birthday meal was completely ruined by the unprofessional and humiliating way we were treated.

I saw on social media that the new Crafted Flatzz pizzas were on special for $3.99 before 4pm so I decided to try it. They had five choices so I got the Pepperoni Duo and the Ultimate.

They both looked and tasted good but didn’t match my eternal love for the Canadian pan pizza or the Chicken Caesar pan pizza! I liked the oval shape but there wasn’t an extra delicious quality to either one. They seemed more “bready” and a little dry. The pan pizzas seem more rich with flavours because they have more amounts of cheese and toppings filled right to the crust edges.

The box they came in had a nice design. And I got quick service at this location for takeout. But I wished I could have seen a menu with pictures of the five choices. I don’t think I’d order the Crafted Flatzz pizzas again.

But I do love the Canadian and Chicken Caesar pan pizzas and this location is sometimes best when I’m in area.

Been buying pizza from here the past 20 years. Today I purchased some pizzas, the dough was a light brown colour and not crispy or firm. It was cooked but not the usual pizza hut standard. My kids hated it. It was sticking to the box how soggy it was. Whoever made pizza today around 11am messed up the order and should be fired. What a joke.

Went to Pizza Hut today with my family of 13 and had such an amazing experience. I didn’t get the name of our waitress, but she was incredibly kind, attentive, and truly made our night special. We were celebrating a birthday, and she catered to everything perfectly — from making sure we had enough space to keeping everyone happy and comfortable. Exceptional service and a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you for making our family celebration so memorable! 🍕💛

Wish I could give 0 stars. The server here is pathetic, she does not know how to talk with people. She is in own dreams that she is the owner of this store.
So, rude don’t know her name but she wears glasses.

This IS the Pizza Hut dine-in buffet.
Pros: The pizza was great... unfortunately that was all.
2.5 out of 5.

Cons: - Salad bar is literally just lettuce, croutons, and ranch
- Waitress couldn't speak English
- decor is sad
- Clearly being run into the ground

I brought my (notable) friend from England, who was really excited. We all left disappointed. While the pizza was good, the buffet is the following: 4 pizzas that get refilled, stale bread sticks, pasta (salad?), lettuce, croutons, ranch sauce.

That's right, their salad is literally just lettuce and croutons. It was abysmal. Apart from the waitress being unable to speak English (my friend asked for water, she replied 'diet coke?'), she got our drinks wrong. Do you really need a temporary foreign worker at a Pizza Hut? The answer is no.

One couple complained that every pizza had onion on it at one point, they asked for meat lovers, the manager (?) told them they wouldn't serve that for the buffet, then eventually brought it out anyways for some reason.

Another woman said she had been there before and they rarely have pepperoni. It seemed to be a heavy rotation of Hawaiian, deluxe, and cheese.

I must, again, stress how pathetic the 'salad bar' was; a piece of lettuce fell into the ranch, no one picked it out.
Same tongs for multiple pizzas, meaning some one allergic to one of the toppings could get sick. i.e. third world sanitation standards.

It was like the 90s in there, yes, but in a sad way. A few thousand dollars of upkeep could go a long way, decorations from the 90s, old adverts, or simply fixing the chipped paint on the exterior of the building (the 'hut' part of the roof).

In summary: It is just seems like a third-world operation and that the owner doesn't care. It could be a real destination, but it will close soon at this rate.
