An authentic slice of Italy right here!

Pizzeria Rustico is hands down one of the best Italian dining experiences I’ve had outside of Italy. The moment you step inside, you’re transported — from the warm, rustic decor to the aroma of wood-fired pizzas and simmering sauces, every detail screams authentic Italian charm.

The staff are incredibly welcoming and passionate about what they serve, and it shows in every bite. The pizza? Pure perfection — thin, crispy crust with just the right amount of chew, topped with the freshest ingredients and bursting with flavor.

We just visited this place for the first time.
Amazing pizza, like real pizza should be. Service amazing, great music on the background, clean and overall perfect for “Friday Family Pizza day”.

Amazing wood fired pizza, rustic chic atmosphere, and great service.

The crust was perfect, fresh zesty amazing tomato sauce, and creamy mozzarella - can say enough about this amazing hidden gem.

Menu is JUST pizza and drinks. But what they do, they do incredibly well. You can tell they take great pride in their pies. And all there pizza’s are an even $20.

Can’t wait to go back!

Our first time ordering. Phoned and ordered a classic Margherita pizza. It was ready quickly, crust is nice as is the tomato sauce. When we phoned they didn't tell us the Basil hadn't been delivered and just made us a cheese and tomato pizza. If we had been advised when ordering we would have tried something else but instead we paid $20 for a disappointing meal.

I was so looking forward to enjoying a wood fired pizza with my wife and her five family members. When the pizzas arrived, they were all wet and soggy, as well as uncut. When we tried to cut into them, they just stretched like uncooked dough. I was really surprised that neither the pizza maker nor the waiter, noticed this problem. Way over priced!!! Sadly, Not the best $200 pizza experience I have ever had. Definately won't be returning anytime soon .

Wonderful food, welcoming atmosphere, and they even gave us a couple logs of wood so we could have a fire in our new house. Thank you Joe, Matthias and Russ (Ross?)

Just driving by and stopped to get a pizza, what a surprise. Amazing pizza. I would say one of the best I tasted. I will say it is on top of my list as the best pizza place in GTA.

Summary: A very okay pizza that cost waaaay too much.

I came here with a friend for some dinner. It wasn't too busy and we got sat immediately. We ordered some drinks - which, sidenote: $5 for a CAN of Coke? Seriously? Anyway, we ordered drinks - which to their credit, were good - and then put an order for a very simple pizza to share between the two of us.

We got the pizza pretty quick and it was just...soggy. The cheese and (I guess the sauce) were very watery and I guess that sogged up the middle to the point where while I'm trying to cut up the pizza (they don't cut it for you btw), the toppings are just dragging off the pizza.

And flavour was so basic. To the point where my friend had one slice and was like "You finish the rest. I'll get food from somewhere else."

And to top it all off: The pizza was $23. $23 for a basic, one topping, uncut, wet-as-a-noddle pizza.

I will say: The service was good. The waiter was really attentive and welcoming.

Overall, I had such high hopes for this place because of the rating and the fact that they plaster that they've "been around since 2004", but it was just so....meh for such an extravagantly priced pizza. Won't visit again.

They have good pizza but wish they would get their act together. They are always putting random signs on the door and closeing You roll the dice going here if they will be open or closed. This is the third and last time I will try this restaurant
