I came to Poorani Vilaas to try their mutton rolls and patties. Both were nicely crispy and served warm, which was a good start. But the filling was underwhelming—there was barely any actual mutton in either. The roll was mostly potato with just a hint of meat, and the patty had a pasty texture with very little mutton as well. A bit disappointing overall. I hope they improve the filling to better match the name and expectations.
Mutton Pattie’s are good but expensive. Customer service needs improvement. No organized lineup. Sometimes they don’t answer the phone so you can’t order ahead. They never give napkins with their food
Admittedly, I haven’t bought anything else from here except for the mutton patties.
But the mutton Patties are the best mutton Patties in all of the GTA. Not the proper authentic Sri Lankan mutton patties though, but my favourite and the best in my opinion.
