Do not waste your time or money here.

Edit 12/4/2025:

That was not me 😂. I was with my family. The fact that your response is implying that we are cheap is crazy as our final bill was over $400 for the table, which is not the issue. That price aligns with what we were expecting to spend anyways. My family and I were treated with close to zero respect in comparison to your white guests. I never take the time to leave a bad review because I understand how it affects small businesses but I felt so disrespected that I had to leave my first one.

Thanks for accusing us as another paying patron who apparently is also not welcome back to your business. (Hilarious that you’ve dragged a random customer into this by the way, I really hope they see this)

Your snarky responses to multiple other customers indicating their body size is the issue — not your portions, is truly horrible.

We had no issues with the food portions or the price. However how you treat individuals who are not the same skin colour as you is a major issue. Friendly reminder that you are in scarborough.

This spot is tucked away down a side street off of Scarborough Gold Club Rd.

Amazing food, great service, and lovely ambience. I split a Schnitzel Platter for two, which came with a lot of great variety (Wiener schnitzels, chicken schnitzels, pork sausage, potato salad, fresh cut fries, creamy slaw, green salad). It allowed me to try a bit of everything, which was great!

Also had the breaded mushrooms with their house-made tartar sauce. Amazing!

Excited to share this place with others in the future.

I visited the restaurant for the first time on 23rd Nov. I went with a friend & we ordered the platter for two. I also asked for hot water with lemon. I was floored when the bill arrived at the end of our meal to note that we were charged $1.50 for hot water & lemon. I was INCENSED. I wanted to query the charge but my friend asked me not to & I didn't want to embarrass him. I did, however, call the restaurant when I got home & was told that the charge was applied because it's a slow period and also that it was extra work to cut the lemon!!!!! What a load of BS!!!!! If you’re looking for a masterclass in nickel-and-diming, this restaurant has you covered. Let’s be clear: this wasn’t some artisanal citrus infusion or a hand-carved lemon wedge flown in from Sicily. It was tap water, boiled, with a lonely slice of lemon. Prague Restaurant has perfected the art of squeezing not just lemons, but their customers. If you want to pay for the privilege of being insulted, by all means, order hot water here. Otherwise, save yourself the indignity and go somewhere that doesn’t treat basic hospitality as a profit center. I will never go back to the restaurant & I WILL NOT recommend it to any of my family/friends.

Not a good restaurant. I booked a table for a special event around 7 pm and they called me saying that you have to come at 6:30 pm

They said it is snowing and they have to close restaurant early

Not sure they close at 9 pm on Sunday and they said if you can come at 6:30 pm we will take or else we have to cancel it.

Is this the way you treat your customers/patrons?

Very happy that my wife found this restaurant in our week-end trip to Toronto. The place is amazing. Smooth, background music low enough that we can converse normally.
Service was top notch and the food was just amazing from the first bite of my appetizer to the last bite of my dessert.
I can only STRONGLY recommand this fine restaurant. We had an amazing time!

Beautiful location, the food was OK but not as high-end as the location makes it seem. The menu feels better suited for a pub than a fancy restaurant.

Our server was new and not very familiar with the menu, but she was friendly and polite.

If eating eastern European food (specifically German and Czech) then this is a good place to go.
Upscale look with odes to a traditional past this restaurant blends both modern and traditional very well utilizing a high standard of decor.
This place would look amazing in the summer with views of a wide forested vista and patio lights highlighting the dynamic of greenery inside an urban environment.
The food is good and holds to it's traditional roots of eastern Europe. Focusing on schnitzels, goulash and paprika dishes.
Overall good score and worth an adventure into deep Scarborough to experience.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to in Toronto. Prague Restaurant is a hidden gem that everyone should go find. They are a former private Czech club that now has a restaurant open to the public. Their food is delicious and tasted like it was made with old family recipes. We had the sharing platter that comes piled high with smoked sausage, chicken and pork schnitzels, potato salad, coleslaw, fries, and salad. The staff were all warm and friendly. The setting amongst a giant green lawn and massive old trees was beautiful and such a treat when you've come from downtown. A beautiful spot that I will return to many times!

Hidden jem in Scarboro. Overlooking 25 acres of heritage. Amelie was our server...we were blessed to know her. Traditional home cooked food in a gorgeous setting. Blankets on the patio were magical.

I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant for the past two years and always loved it. When I first tried pork knuckle in Prague, I fell in love with this dish, and I was so happy to discover a Prague-style restaurant in Toronto where I could enjoy it again. For two years, my family and I came here to celebrate and had the pork knuckle with great pleasure.

This year, I returned with the same anticipation and ordered three pork knuckles. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The dish was nothing like before — the meat was dry, there was much less of it, almost as if part of the portion was missing, and the skin was nearly burnt. On top of that, the price has gone up to $40, which is quite expensive — for that price you can get a good steak in Toronto. In previous years it was much more reasonable, around $30.

I fully understand that prices have gone up everywhere, and I would even be ready to pay more than $40 if the quality stayed at the highest level. It’s much better to keep the price high and deliver excellent quality so that people can come, celebrate, and truly enjoy their meal. But sadly, this time my birthday was spoiled — I didn’t get the experience and pleasure I was hoping for.

It’s very disappointing to see the only Prague-style restaurant in Toronto lower the quality of its food while raising the prices, especially for my favorite dish that I can’t find anywhere else in the city.

For the food this time, I can only give three stars.
