This place is such a hidden gem! Always friendly and accommodating service, and the value for the quality of sushi you get is incredible! This has not become our go-to sushi spot for take out and it honestly trumps so many sit-down sushi restaurants. Can't get a better deal anywhere else for the delicious sushi you get here! Also the sauce they make for their spicy rolls is ACTUALLY spicy!

Qoo Sushi is just the best sushi spot in all of the GTA. I cannot emphasize enough how good ALL their menu is and how nice they are. They know how to treat a customer, they know how to make sushi, they know how to do their job, and they do it very very well. I will be coming here as many times as I can and for as long as I live in the GTA, Qoo Sushi is a hidden gem.

FEB24 -Very sad about my sushi order today. The sushi tasted like soap. We ordered 3 rolls and one salmon sashimi. The sashimi was fine but all 3 rolls had a soap tinge to it. Almost like they put hand cream or there was soap residue in the rice/fillings of the roll. Super weird and off putting. We spent $40 on the sushi and ended up throwing it out since the taste was so strong. We love going here usually the quality of food and taste is pretty good, but today was not the case. We called the restaurant to let them know so hopefully it doesn’t happen again. They mentioned they put lemon in the rice but this definitely did not taste natural at all, very artificial and strange taste. we ordered it from Uber eats so still waiting to see if we can get refunded or not.EDITED- FEB25Editing my review to 5 stars. I received a call from the restaurant apologizing for the experience yesterday. They provided a re-do of the entire meal to make up for the experience and it tasted amazing. Not sure what happened yesterday, but seeing how the owner and staff took such great care of actually investigating and following up, shows that they truly care about their customer experience and takes feedback seriously. Things happen, and if they did not do anything it would have been very upsetting but because of this high level focus on customer experience I will definitely coming back again. Thank you for doing this and continuing to build trust with your customers.

When I arrived, I noticed that they are busy preparing for take outs so I asked first if they are busy, the guy at the counter said yes but he can take my order so I ordered a Chicken karaage don. The order was quick but I received just the chicken I asked why it didn’t come with the rice and he said with a somewhat sarcastic face “you said you wanted Chicken karaage” there was a misunderstanding. In fairness to them, they offered to give me rice but with an additional $2 charge (I already paid $13 for the chicken which is quite expensive IMO) which I politely declined. I guess they really are more into take out that they leave little attention to dine in customers. The karaage taste quite bland.

Fantastic sushi - best spot in Scarborough for sure. Owners are also very nice and appreciate return customers (we’ve gotten free roles as a thank you more than once).The place is connected to a gas station, which seems off putting. But, the food is top tier (I promise).Highly recommend.
Ordered takeout based on the reviews even though price seemed hefty compared to other sushi places. To be honest was disappointed by the quality and the portions, which seemed less fresh and smaller compared to the usual sushi place we get takeout from. The eel roll tasted really fishy and the salmon of the salmon avocado was tough and not buttery like we are used to. Overall we were not satisfied for the price we paid.

I had my reservations about ordering from this place simply because of the strange location directly next to the gas station, but the food was delicious! Everything looked and tasted fresh, was well-packaged, and my whole family enjoyed their meals. I also thought the prices were better than many other sushi places in the area. I’ll certainly order from here again!

I ordered from this place twice, and both times they were a treat! Definitely one of the best sushi places, any day of the week.Bear in mind the prices aren't cheap, but it makes sense since their portions are generous and the quality of the sushi is the best I've had so far. If you value freshness, this is the place for you.Also, try to order the combos if you can! The salad they serve with the combos are so fresh and delicious! I may come back just for the side salad, who knows :)

Qoo has some of the freshest and most flavourful sushi my partner and I have ever had! While living much closer it was a weekly favourite; now we rarely make a visit to the area without stopping in.The spicy salmon dragon roll, spicy tuna roll, and bulgolgi rolls are our favourites, while their Red Carpet Roll is definitely worth the splurge for a special treat.Now living in Toronto, we have yet to find sushi as superb as Qoo. The usual sushi chef has always been very friendly, generous, and welcoming to us, esp as we became “regulars”, often sending us off with complimentary Japanese snacks, candy or a miso soup knowing it’s a favourite of ours.Please do not let the small nature of this place deter you from popping in or ordering - worth the try & any wait!Thanks Qoo for all you do!!
