Upon realizing the lack of cash between my comrade and I, us foolish pie seekers took two Ubers, to and fro from the Pickering Metro, and then selected a fine Cinnamon Apple pie, one day old — our journey from the stand and out through rouge park was perilous, facing risks to life and limb physically and legally, though we survived and arrived at the designated abode — it proved a delicious birthday pie consumed that evening with whipped cream

When we arrived during the Thanksgiving long weekend, the owner was restocking the pies so we were lucky to get them while they were still warm! We got the caramel apple pie and butter pecan tart. The owner let us know that for Thanksgiving, rather than the individual smaller tarts, they do a “big” version of the tart which is the same size as the pie. Both were really delicious! The flavors do rotate, and if you happen to visit when they have the strawberry/rhubarb or peach pie, I highly recommend getting them :)

Such a cool spot! Road side pie stand. Well worth stopping at. Pies and butter tarts are yummy. Light flaky pastry and fresh fillings. Carmel apple pie, pumpkin pecan pie, were available this evening

I walked through Rouge Park and it brings you right to the Pie Stand. The pies were sold out so you need to get there early. But I bought a pecan butter tart pie and it was amazing!!

The pecan butter tart pie was incredible! Crisp topping with a chewy, gooey filling and melt-in-your mouth crust. Can’t wait to go back and try their fruit pies!

These are the BEST homemade desserts. It used to be a monthly treat for the girlfriend and myself, now we make weekly trips. I always make sure to get some butter tarts and a fresh made pie. The darn things are so good they don’t last a day in our house. ? I hope that this wonderful pie stand stays in business for many years to come. I tip my hat to the chef!

Can we please gatekeep this place? It's the best thing ever! My boyfriend and I were driving by when the sign caught our eye. We decided to take a look at it. Little did we know it was the best decision we ever made. There was no one around, and the owners simply relied on people’s honesty and kindness to pay. We did pay, hahaha. We got 6 butter tarts for $10. Oh my gosh, it was the best thing ever. They had a watery syrup consistency and somehow maintained the pastry part. We brought some home for our family, and they also said that it's the best butter tart they've ever had.

I had driven past the sign so many times and wanted to go. We finally did last Fall.Signage was good. It was easy to find. There were also other cars parked. That also helped. It really is just an unmanned old cabinet by the road filled with pies and tarts. There are prices and a little jar, and it is done on an honour system.Three most important thing was that the pies were delicious. We just wonder if more come out throughout the day. We arrived late in the day but the pies we got were clearly fresh out of the oven. Is there a schedule at all? We never get butter tarts because they're always sold out when we arrive.Anyway, go for it and enjoy ?

I visited the pie stand hoping for pecan, but settled for apple since it wasn't available. The apple pie was fantastic, and I appreciated the unique honor system for payment—just drop your cash in a jar. A simple, charming experience with delicious pies!
