The portion sizes here are definitely massive and the cost is justified in today’s economy. I was served by one of the older women and she was really kind. The meat was okay as it was unfortunately lacking in flavour and not seasoned nicely. The chickpea salad was done well. Overall, I would return here especially for the larger portion sizes.

Ruby’s has been my parents go to shawarma spot for many years. I recently went for the first time, and the service, food quality and portion were great. Now I see why my parents have been going for years.
It is much better to support these small local family businesses!

Took a mix shawarma wrap. Beef was smelly, and price is expensive cimparing to other nearby locations. Won’t recommend. And the lady a attitude, not welcoming

If you want to waste your money this is one of the worst shawarma places in Scarborough to do it. Beef wrap looks like a wrap with mostly vegetables and the little beef they put has no flavour at all.
The shawarma was good, not amazing as it was lacking sauce but good.
However their food handling is worrisome. The lady making my food, was handling food and money with the same pair of glove without washing or anything. I told her it was wrong to do so and she said she knows but she is busy. She then took off her glove to handle cash and then continued wrapping my food with her bare hands that touched cash seconds prior.
I wish I hadn't already paid and tipped.

Very nice staff. Mr. ALI and Mr. Fati helped us. They gave us some delicious baklava as a compliment. Their Shawarma is very delicious.
