Ruth's Catering & Takeout

I just got a tea and some snacks from this store. Oh my god the normal water is better than the tea which i bought from there. I went that store and complained the lady who was there, she is really arrogant and i paid for one more tea and thats also garbage. Please don’t go this restaurant.

Walked in and saw 2 big flies landing on the food displayed.

We bought veggie rice and curry, vegetable pakora and vaipaan (fried banana balls). The pakora and vaipaan were not adequately fried, with the centres being doughy, and the veggie rice and curry was mediocre at best. I definitely do not recommend any of the veggie options here!

Very filthy place....I dnt know why Toronto city is not checking this places...mice & rats every where, I guess the lady (owner) was sweeping d floor , she took my order with broom in her hand and packed my food ....I showed her rats ...she ignored....pls don't get sick with this low hygiene place and handling

I heard about this place ...pls check the food before eating .u may find cockraoach in it...very bad...they dnt care, most f d reviews are from their own family and paid promotional reviews..if u go through..u can easily find genuine reviews

Bought a fish roti and chicken roll however, it only has potato there was no fish or chicken.

Im always down to try biriyani at new places. This place has decent biriyani. Mutton biriyani here is good

Food is always cold. The mutton curry was all bone. I wouldn't recommed. It's cheap but not great.

Noodles has hardly any chicken .beech roti old & hard like rock

Ordered two banana leaf rice in store. While waiting saw a cockroach crawling along the wall. They got the order wrong and upon calling them to give them an opportunity to resolve the issue faced a very hostile customer service.

Horrible customer service. Went to ask the prices for some items to make a large order for a party. I had a few questions to ask. The lady who attended me answered only one question and left to attend the other customer. I waited there for a bit, but no one even bothered me to ask me if I wanted anything. I felt unwelcomed there.

Their short eats are ok. Vada, vege roti are my fav. Dissapointed with the fish cutlet. Vege samosa is just fine. Patty curry is too spicy

Update: recentky i findout the people are different maybe the undder new management. I tried their bread is ok. I felt really bad when i treated bad. One lady over their was rude. I touched the size of the curry container to see size. Because i cannot see the top view. The lady was like, "dont move dont move , dobt touch..!"

Come on man. It is just container. She qas like im stealing their stuff. I fekt really bad, so i bought some snacks and out. Nver evr step to this place. Never. As a Srilankan, i feel really bad.
Im sorry if this hurt the management, i had to say this. PLEASE speak nicely to customers. Thank you
