Got excited to try out the Durian Mochi. I could smell the flour while eating which gave me an unpleasant feeling. The sponge was actually soft and tasted good. I wish there was real durian pulp even a little to make up for the price.
Craving for a dessert after Chinese meal at Great Fountain. I did not expect a very delicious dessert. Got 2 mochi- mango and matcha and strawberry chiffon cake.. as soon as I entered my car and tried mango mochi. Soft mochi and creamy filling. I devour in few seconds! Super tasty! The packaging is cute as well.
It isn't a Bredgy birthday without indulging in a durian-based cake. Fitting for its name, it's genuinely an explosion of custardy durian flavours, contrasted with a tangy mango mousse, and tropical lychee jelly within, all sandwiched between airy layers of sponge cake. It's a surefire way to impress a durian lover, with an aroma pungent enough to make my knees weak.
