I went to this store today, and trust me, it was one of the worst places to step foot in. From the moment I walked in, customers were arguing and bargaining over basic food items like it was a market. And the owner? POOR attitude. The way he was shouting at the Jamaican lady at the cashier was straight-up disrespectful and unprofessional. No manners at all. There are no fixed prices everything feels like you have to guess or fight to know the cost. One minute it’s this price, next minute it’s something else. Total confusion. The whole place felt messy, loud, and not welcoming in the slightest. If you value good service, respect, and honesty, do yourself a favour and don’t bother coming here. I definitely won’t be going back.

I stumbled upon this grocery slash Restuarant this weekend and it was a clean and bright environment with fresh produce. I really just came for a michidean patty but saw this appetizing display of food at great prices! I opted for the stew fish and chow mein and as a side which is included in the price $12.99 they loaded much plantain and veg! The food was tasty and filling lasted me 2 days! I felt the fish could have used seasoning , might be surface flavour from gravy but not inside - so it lacked flavour but everything else was. Tasty. I also tried their jerk pork , stew pork and bbq pigtail and those were hearty and large portions cooked well and tasty so you’re getting your dollars worth. Service was fantastic and they also sell bottled beet juice made in house. Delicious and healthy!

Great community store and service. Catering service is awesome
First time ordering. Order instructions wasn't followed. I only ordered plantain and stew chicken no rice. They gave rice and peas and it was the worst rice and peas I have ever eaten. I don't know how a restaurant can mess up rice and peas. No shade but other people from non caribbean background/cultures can make rice and peas better. The stew chicken was bland nothing special. I would never recommend anyone to order food from this place especially since they messed up on the rice. I think you need to reevaluate the chef.

First, I just want to say that I truly see food as a blessing, and I’m grateful to have the health and means to enjoy it. I also appreciate the effort that goes into working in the food industry—it’s not easy, and I respect that.
That said, I wanted to share some feedback from my recent order. It looks like the mutton was missing from my rice, and there were no vegetables included on the other side, even though it was part of a buy one, get one offer.
I understand mistakes can happen, but details like this really do matter to customers—especially when they’re looking forward to something. I’m sharing this so it can be improved in the future.
