I recently went here..I felt disappointed with many the food and pastries are very expensive and portions were small compared to the price. The pastries didn’t really taste authentic Guyanese to me at all. There’s a lot of hype and good marketing. The staff is very nice the place it self is clean

Excellent Guyanese grocery and snack shop with plenty of great options. Goat roti here is delicious and the hot sauce has much flavour! Definitely a great place to satisfy your roti cravings!

Definitely a great atmosphere and options in the grocery section of the store. The hot food choices are amazing and the pastries are good. Didn't like the pepperpot when I tried it last year but maybe that's a sign that I make it myself lol. Highly recommend this place to any and everyone looking to try some Guyanese food and items! The beautiful thing about 🇬🇾 is you are essentially trying cuisine from Africa, Portugal, Amerindian tribes, Chinese, Indian and European all in one infusion.

I absolutely love the food at Sherene's it is always fresh clean and delicious. You can enjoy some of their staple dishes but they also have a variety of speciality item. I love when I can try something new from the Guyanese culture. The food is top notch you have to check it out. Imagine buying a goat roti and a conkie and eating it 3 days later the roti still fresh and the conkie taste authentic and delicious.
