We came here on a Friday at 8 PM with four adults and four kids (from 8 years old down to 2 months). After a long day out, the kids were exhausted and hungry. The last thing we expected from a restaurant was to be told there was basically no food. The first thing out of the server’s mouth was: “We don’t have any beef or poutine.” Okay, fine—restaurants sometimes run out of items. But when we asked what they actually had, the answer was “chicken and rice.” That’s it. At dinner time. On a Friday. At a restaurant. It’s one thing to be missing a dish or two. It’s another to tell customers that 75% of your menu is unavailable. That’s unacceptable and frankly embarrassing for any establishment. We walked in with a crying baby and hungry kids, and instead of being able to eat, we were left scrambling. This was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. If you can’t provide food—the absolute bare minimum—then you shouldn’t be open. We will never be coming back, and I strongly recommend others save themselves the trouble.
