Had an order of poutine the other day at the Toronto Zoo. It was a pretty busy food truck, and all day at the zoo I saw people walking around with their poutine boxes so I thought I'd try them out since one of my favorite things to eat are French fries and gravy. I ordered a traditional poutine. The staff was polite. The poutine cost $14 and there was only one size. The fries were OK they were fresh but the gentleman cooking was in a rush and didn't let the oil drip...
I had some poutine with some chicken and buffalo chicken sauce. The poutine was heavy probably because I wasn't used to eating poutines (for context just arrived from Singapore). I generally think if you are going to eat poutine make sure you have a friend to share it with and also so you can mix up the toppings. The prices are reasonable for a tourist attraction like the zoo.
