I previously had this place rated as a 5* as they were probably the best Hakka restaurant we’ve tried. They used to be consistent in making fresh tasting food with fantastic flavour. Over the past several visits, we’ve noticed a change. The food no longer tastes like it was just made. It seems they are simply re-frying food they had from hours earlier and it comes out super hard and chewy. The noodles and fried rice were fine, but the main dishes always seem to be re-fried. This is unfortunate as we were coming here for about 15-20 years. We used to drive over to this location and passed about a dozen other Hakka restaurants, but this was the last time. Gave them the benefit of the doubt when we had 1 or 2 bad experiences, but this is becoming too consistent. So disappointed as this was a staple for us whenever we craved Hakka food.

The food served there is always a delightful experience, prepared with a genuine touch. It offers a satisfying meal without unnecessary complexity, which is truly appreciated. The straightforward approach to cooking enhances the natural flavors of the ingredients. It's a dependable spot that consistently delivers a pleasurable and tasty lunch. Staff is not at all welcoming. Looks like cursing why I came in. Lol. I really want the owner to know that every customer matters and kindly train your staff to be a little polite and smile when a customer walks in. This was my first visit and last as well.

I don’t know why do people don’t like smiling while they are working in hospitality sector.

Terrible- food was literally inedible and such a disappointment! This place used to be good but has definitely gone down hill massively. Super upsetting and definitely won’t be back.

I ordered a Chicken fried rice and a chill chicken gravy. Fried rice was over cooked, rice was full of pan smoke smell. Chillichicken gravy is another disaster, seems like old chicken half of it were chunk couldn't chew it properly. I have been buying food from spicy dragon for past 7 years but last few months the quality and teste are worst.

Absolutely unacceptable and disgusting My sister found cockroaches in her food from this restaurant. This is a clear indication of poor hygiene and lack of cleanliness. Eating here is a serious health hazard—nobody should risk it. Avoid at all costs this restaurant is nasty

Always do take out after my shift in the evening for their Hakka food. Huge portions and taste good as well. We always get the authentic Manchurian fried rice, chili fish, veggie pakora. We get pick up within 10 mins of order.

Used to be good now you feel like eating chicken made out of flower its garabe

I ordered from Spicy Dragon expecting a nice meal, but what I got was a nightmare. Halfway through eating, I found a roach in my food! It was an absolutely revolting experience, and I felt sick just thinking about it. I contacted the staff immediately, but their response was underwhelming. Went back for a refund and they did not want to refund the full bill and the reasoning was because it was $100. After going back and forth with them they did give me a refund for the total bill. No one should have to deal with this level of poor hygiene, especially from a restaurant. Needless to say, I won’t be eating here again and would advise others to think twice before dining here. Cleanliness should be a top priority for any food establishment!

I don’t know what the lady on the counter think of herself. Big lady with the glasses on yes this is for you. Learn how to speak to customer first. You are rude in person as well as in call. If you can’t handle they busy time in business don’t bother working in customer service. I feel sorry for the owner of the business. And stop yelling at the customer as if they are your husband. You have no manners at all.
