St. Andrews Fish & Chips

I ordered halibut and chips to go it was ready on time when I went in to pick it up! The only thing was, the fish and chips were a bit too oily for my taste. I know fish and chips are usually quite greasy, but this one was really heavy on the oil. I had to use paper towels to soak up the excess before I could eat it. But hey, other than that, it was pretty decent!

Edited review: We order fish and chips from here often - the halibut is my favourite and my wife likes the salmon. Big plus due to the price being about 25% lower than most fish and chips places.

The day my wife and I went , on a day where unfortunately there was no heat,😆but the food was good 👍

I asked for fish and chips and literally got batter and chips. I mean if you didn’t have enough fish just say so. Or charge me less bc this was crazy. Or give me an extra piece of fish. But I guess if you’re a successful business already why do you need to prove yours at this point right??? Well I payed FULL PRICE FOR BASICALLY BATTER come on man do better!!!!! This is terrible!!!

We ordered 2 plates of fish and chips and 2 beers, the chips tasted like fried in cheap oil, we could tast the flavour of the oil in the chips, couldn’t finish them and the tarter sauce was in a squeeze bottle, tasted like just plain moyo $72 , with tip $83, over priced, not going back

We ordered the fish and chips (Halibut) which was great but the fish portion can be bigger, the chips were amazing. The restaurant was very old and overrun

Been here 2 times in one week for take out. Had the Halibut and Chips. Fresh, crispy and delicate fish.... soooo good. It is definitely going to be a problem not showing up every week.

Service was slow but we were a party of 6 so we had lots to chat about while waiting.
The servers were amazing I think we got a new hire but she proactively ask the other server.
The food was delicious and portions hearty!
The place need a bit of remodeling looks dull needs brightening.

Onion rings taste like they were made last week.
Don't eat here. Find another place

Pretty fire. I think a touch of tanginess in the tartar sauce could’ve helped but honestly loved the cod and chips and appreciated the half chips deduction. The chips were also nice and crispy
