Had hopes for this place when I saw fresh cut fries on the menu; turns out they weren’t, and the rest of the food was just your basic frozen food service fare. The bun on the sandwich was tending towards quite firm, so probably had been stored out in the open. So, sadly another average place.

Fries aren't crispy and cared for like the Oshawa location. I was working near there for a while, and went there everyday for a week because they cook the fries to perfection there. The same can't be said about the Scarborough location. Thought I'd be getting the same dish, but not even close. Sorry, but this is what it is. Maybe it was the cook? Or if this is how they make there fries there, y'all need to bring it up to Oshawa location standards. Will not be getting this again. A good poutine should not come with soggy fries. Especially from Stag's head. My ratings only go down for this location. Oshawa is where you want to go for the Stags head. The place has a great menu, just not sure they have the right people working in the kitchen the way Oshawa does.

Terrible service. Had to keep asking for the same basic things e.g. water. Everyone's food was gross. One of our party received fish that was still frozen inside with no resolution offered. Just insane. The manager obviously didn't give a shit either.

Nice atmosphere for a pub. Wasn't busy but service slow. Server missed our app. Wings were ok. Asked for wet naps twice and never got them. General lack of enthusiasm from server. Cremore on tap was room temperature. Probably won't go back

I visited this bar last week and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel unwelcome. Before closing time, a server (appeared to be a middle-aged Sri Lankan woman) abruptly informed us that the kitchen was closed—no warning, no courtesy. Oddly enough, shortly after, other customers arrived and were served food without issue.
While we were still drinking, the same server removed our glasses from the table without even asking if we were finished. When questioned about it, she casually said “give another,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. We were left feeling uncomfortable and disrespected.
To make matters worse, when we tried to address our concerns, another male staff member responded in an incredibly rude and aggressive manner, even telling us to leave. And to top it all off, we noticed that a tip was added without our consent. That is completely unacceptable.
This kind of behavior is immature, unprofessional, and reflects very poorly on the establishment. I would not recommend this place to anyone who expects basic respect and decent service.
