Ordered Mutton Kacchi and Haji Biriani today for take out.
Haji Biriani was average meat portions are small.
I have had Mutton Kacchi at different Bangladeshi cuisines. This is by far the worst of them. This is not a Kacchi that they serve! The meat is dry no gravy with the rice and meat portion is significantly less than what other restaurants serve. Their pricing for the Kacchi might be $2 less than other restaurants but the difference in taste is astronomical. Never going there again.

I am Extremely Disappointed with the Service today. I'm a regular customer and they have lost me for good. Order was not provided correctly. I ordered on the phone one haji one teheri one roast polau, for which at the time of cashout each item was requested to be doubled, hence 2 haji, 2 teheri, 2 roast polau. attached picture shows 3 haji, one teheri, 2 roast only. Instead of rectifying the situation the owner/ associate taking the order was arguing with me. I said it's okay, leave it and closed the call. AGAIN she called me to argue with me that she was correct and I was wrong. Like seriously now I have to be harassed by restaurant owners/ associates? This is absolutely unacceptable. Learn to say sorry, accept the misunderstanding and rectify the situation then maybe you will get more customer. My review here is only written. Verbal review will be spread. I am very very upset. Instead of enjoying my food that I bought with my money I had to deal with arguments. Advising you to learn customer service, repeat orders to ensure it was requested and noted correctly and create more coaching sessions to practice the consistency of etiquette and courteous customer service.

We went to dine for two pepole. I didnt ask the price of food thats my mistake first of all. So we ordered one duck kichuri and one beef teheri and two tea. The lady billed us 56 dollar (cash) and she was saying she took 1-2 dollar off from the items. On top of that they charge you to dine there.
High price , will never go there, I suggest if you go there asked the price first.

This is the 3 consecutive time, I visited Star Biriyani House located 3216 Eglington Avenue yesterday, according to market survey star biriyani house price is above $3 more in comparison with other restaurant. Their Beef Teheri has no flavours, no mustard oil at all, i dont find any black pepper flavour on beef teheri. They dont serve salad, very skinny lemon wedges, beside this they charge $3 for salad and horrible cut salad was served, big big chunky cut tomatoes and Cucumber.Wheras most of the restaurant they serve good quality salad and good portion and good flavoured beef teheri by $12. I made a phone call and had a chance to talk to the owner, he himself replied to me, they serve salad nicer way to dining customer but not with take way customer, if this is the feedback from owner, he shouldn’t serve take way business, if he is not concern about quality of food for take way customer then it might be he focus on dining and unwanted or bad quality food he serve for take way clientele to cover the food cost.

I wouldnt visit this restaurant anymore neither would recommend any of my friends and families member. Yesterday I also ordered two Aalu Chop as I was hungry and recommended I will eat here. They dont know the manner how to serve dining food as both chop was cold inside, as I requested i will eat here, they should warm the food. Any place you order chop, they serve condiment like sauce and ketchup which is free. Also last month i took beef teheri and on second day in the fridge it got bad smell.
Their service and food quality is very worst. As you can see their google star review is 3.6 which should ractify and improve immediately. My next step would be to complain Toronto Public Health to investigate and I will do that.
I am very very upset about my food and hospitality that I received yesterday.

The absolute best kacchi and morog polau I had outside of dhaka. I live in USA and I regularly have people ship or bring this over to me on Chicago now. If I visit Toronto I'm definitely bringing it home as well!!!

They have the best Kachi Biryani in Toronto, I highly recommend it.

I ordered the Beef Tehari for $18, but it was disappointing. There was barely 100g of beef, with only a few small pieces, while the rest was just rice. The quality felt very cheap, and it didn’t meet my expectations for the price. This dish definitely needs improvement in both the portion of beef and the overall quality.

Worst Catering Experience – Extremely Disappointing!
We ordered tehari, biryani, and a few other bulk trays for a special event, and it turned out to be the worst decision we’ve ever made. The quality of the food was incredibly disappointing. For example, we ordered 4 large trays of tehari, and it was basically just rice with a few tiny pieces of meat scattered throughout – far from what we expected. To make matters worse, all the food arrived cold, which completely ruined the experience for our guests. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you're considering this place for catering. Save yourself the hassle and embarrassment – this place is not worth it!
