Star Lobster Seafood Mart

Very overpriced and dishonest shop. They had a sale advertising 3 lobsters for $45, with each weighting approximately 1 lb. When I got home, I found out the lobsters were only around 0.60-0.70 lb each. Very sketchy and deceiving practice. Will never be returning.

Over priced, just go to Oceans and Tnt they have better deals there!..I thought since they're a small retailer the deals will be better but I thought wrong!
1lb giant spotted prawns for 70 bucks! you get the same for 40 at TNT. They have specials on they're retarded lobster but it's not even worth it. Dont get me wrong their seafood was fresh but expensive.

He can definitely be called an unscrupulous seafood merchant! It's easy to make a difference with a good thing. This is my experience every time I visit. When you find that you have a problem and ask a question, you will get the boss's slick excuse, and the casher's answer is that you are mentally retarded. I will tolerate you. . The most outrageous time: Not only was the box of air-freighted shrimps that I ordered not delivered in the original box, but they also pretended to be stupid and forgot to bring me a batch of nearly dead shrimps from the tank and the price was 15% higher than the reserved price. I understand the seafood business model very well. It’s a rule of thumb, but it can’t be so outrageous! The fresh shrimps that were originally used to entertain relatives and friends have turned into garbage and their meat quality has been greatly reduced! Strictly speaking, I ordered the shrimps. You opened the boxes and sold them in order to make money. I will never patronize such an untrustworthy merchant again!

Ordered several kinds of seafood from the Instagram and requested the same day delivery, everything went smoothly, seafood is so fresh and alive when I got them! Amazing experience! Definitely would come back again!

My dad has been going here for lobster for around 30 years. I finally went to try their sashimi grade items.

The uni was very fresh, a few dollars more ($38 for tray of 5 BC uni) than their competition, with quality being the same.

I also bought their sashimi salmon and the “wagyu” salmon. The quality was good, but it was annoying that they sell it by cutting a salmon steak and the trying to butcher loins from that. The piece you get is small and awkward to work with. You are also paying for the weight of the bones and skin (which they give back to you in a bag). Moreover, the flesh gets torn up because the fish monger tries to rip out the bones from the side (I also still found two bones in the flesh). I can’t see myself returning for the salmon unless they are able to sell sashimi ready fillets like other sashimi fish markets.

Oh, and the wagyu king salmon (28.99lb) compared to their regular salmon ($18.99lb) was not obviously superior in raw form. You can really taste the extra fat and marbling when you cook it, but not when it is raw.

First time buying seafood here. The and ? was so fresh. Excellent quality. I recommend to all the seafood lovers.

Great price. Sometimes they don't have variety of fish. I would recommend it for salmon and lobster.

I bought some spot shrimp from that place, the woman always pick up the died shrimp and trying to put them into the bag if you don't check carefully. Horrible experience.

I've been to this market over two years for their spot prawns which were always quick, easy and efficient. But it's like over time, their service and efficiency is out the window. I've had minor issues in the past - placed order & paid with pick up time but still having to wait over an hour during busy time or missing items.Today after receiving a new price list, I placed an order and went on my way to pick up. Just to be told that 6 of the different items I asked for are sold out. This price list was give to me yesterday and was for yesterday. No one at the front to help and when I received help, they didn't even know what I was asking for on the price list. Just so so so disappointing.

I bought 2 lobsters today ($58 for 2), after I ate them. I have diarrhea and vomiting.
I found those lobsters' meat are moldy.

Do not recommend this shop
