Went in for lunch definitely amazing option for the lunch specials service was it was faster all friendly, and definitely will be going back hopefully maybe for the nightlife vibe

If you haven't tried Guyanese style Chinese food, make your way over to Starlite Family Restaurant at Midland and Ellesmere in Scarborough. They've been around since 2013, offering delicious food with generous portions.

I went there recently with friends and we really enjoyed everything. Here's what we had:
• Starlite Chow Mein
• Starlite Vegetables with Beef
• Starlite General Tao Chicken
• Jerk Chicken
• Starlite Spicy Shrimp
• Deep Fried Chicken
• Stir-Fry Duck
• Curry Chicken

It was all delicious! My personal favourite, however, was the duck. I love duck! Other faves include Starlite Vegetables with Beef and Starlite General Tao Chicken. Besides the duck, everything else is Halal.

I also had a very potent rum punch that was a bit too strong for my companions. It was definitely bold but good!

The restaurant was spacious and the service was really good, with dishes coming out fast, and plates being cleared quickly. Drop in to try their food, or visit one of their sister restaurants, Caribbean Cabana (Markham), Hibiscus (Ajax), and Galaxy Event Space (Pickering).

Nice Guyanese style fried rice. Sometimes the chef or the waitress don’t get the order right. Like who puts broccoli in fried rice?

I like their specials and I tend to get their shrimp, chicken and beef fried rice platter with their crispy chicken on top (protein packed Guyanese food that's halal to). Scarborough gem.

This is the perfect spot! Security is always on point! The staff are phenomenal! The atmosphere is always great! Thursday is karaoke night, and it’s always a great night! Drinks and food are both nice priced.
