Had a job nearby and stopped at Stone Well for lunch. Lovely place - owner and everyone behind the bar was extremely nice. Great prices for their daily specials and delicious food. Couldn't ask for more.

Finally went here after hearing about the Fish n Chips Friday special. The battered haddock did not disappoint! It even came with a lemon wedge— a great sign of serious fish n chips. Fries were fine too. Friendly server. Great music playlist. Lots of locals and sports on tv. Clean washrooms. We will be back for brunch and other “specials” like Taco Tuesday! Wish we had tried here sooner! A local gem.

This is a great local neighbourhood pub. It has really become a great spot in the area. The owner Richard and the staff are incredible, caring and attentive. The wings are some of the best in the neighbourhood. Their new specials are also really worth trying. The trivia and karaoke night is always a good time on Thursdays. The owner has really curated this place to be somewhere where you can meet your friends for a cold one and even meet new ones - it’s a very friendly and inclusive bar. Everyone is welcome. Special shout out to Kayla who makes every person who walks into the bar feel valued and cared for. Strongly recommend trying this place out! :)

We moved into the neighborhood recently and stumbled on this gem. We had the Friday Fish Special. Perfect hand battered and chip were fried to perfection. Add on the exceptional friendly service. It was our first time but will not be our last. This will be our local place for sure.

First time going here and I am really impressed. I had the burger and it was really tasty and not overcooked like other bars and pubs tend to do. I could tell that the fries were fresh cut and were really crisp. And they recommended that I pair it with a Helles lager and that was also great. They have a pool table and you can play darts, too. I definitely recommend this place, and i'm definitely going to try the weekly deals.

The quality of this place has really gone downhill since the change in staff, particularly with the new cook. I ordered the chicken wings and fries, and unfortunately, they were undercooked. It’s not just the food quality that has suffered—there’s been a noticeable decline in the overall atmosphere as well. Some nights, the crowd is younger and more disruptive, with certain individuals causing chaos, including a particular woman who often brings her friends and creates a scene.
The owner, Richard, seems to put on a façade of caring about his customers, but it’s clear he doesn’t truly value feedback or customer satisfaction. I, along with several friends, have shared similar concerns in reviews, only for him to dismiss our honest opinions by calling them fake. Frankly, it’s disappointing to see someone who claims to care act this way.
After this experience, I won’t be supporting this business any longer and can’t recommend the food or the service to anyone.

Well, we walked for about an hour and a half because we can, and we decided to stop here. The washrooms were clean, which was my sister's main reason for coming, and she's telling me not to type this but I don't care. I loved the server, kayla, she had an amazing energy and attitude, she was an absolute joy to talk to. The beer was cold, the atmosphere was lovely, I would walk another hour get here.
