Best smoked meat sandwich in the GTA. Handcut as they do in Montreal. As my husband grew up in Montreal eating this from Schwartz and The Main Deli, this is the next best thing when we need a fix.

We’re not a huge fans of Montreal style smoked meat, but there are times where we crave it. SumiLicious is one of the only places that serve this where we live and we do think it’s comparable to the stuff you would get in Montreal. Service is pretty fast and the people are friendly. Prices are reasonable and they are very generous with the amount of meat they put in their sandwiches.

Delicious! Definitely will be back if I’m ever craving a smoked sandwhich. Unfortunately, due to inflation the price is quite a bit for a sandwich in personal opinion, however, at least I know it’s made fresh. I will have to admit though the menu is a bit hard to navigate for first timers, but the service was superb!

I visited this place last Thursday and ordered a smoked meat poutine. The taste was good (not as good as Schwartz in Montreal). What shocked me was the portion. It cost 13.50, with taxes its over 15 bucks, but it’s actually smaller than McDonalds poutine. Secondly, the amount of meat they put on it, is actually less than a fifth of what comes on a sandwich. The same thing is true for the cheese. It is not even filling a 12 years old boy. The owner should consider this, 15 bucks is not $2 or $3. The poutine is not an appetizer either. When you charge that amount, you should be fair with the portion. You literally need to search for the smoke meat inside the bowl, otherwise you won’t even find it. Not worth the bucks. This owner is on a one time business. If you check other reviews you will see what I mean, you will notice they have reduced the portion (from the one on the black bowl when they started to what we see on the white bowl - mine was actually less than this). Too much fat on smoked meat sandwich pickle was average not big on the flavoured fries and coleslaw tiny portion. $24 and change for combo left me unsatisfied. Didn't include a drink.

meat was good but the bread was oddly cut and i just feel like there wasn’t really anything special about the sandwich. it’s kinda overrated and overpriced. their poutine was okay and the gravy was well seasoned but kinda runny. i had high expectations because it’s a Michelin star but it’s not really worth a second visit.

The first shocking thing was that there is no drink that comes with the combo?!?! Second was the 13 dollar sandwich was no bigger than a wallet and the bread was so dry which worsened the experience because there was no bevy. The fries are well seasoned and the grilled chicken was enjoyable. The poutine tastes like regular Burger King/ McDonalds poutine but just smoked meat on top. And dont get me wrong I love a good poutine but 13 dollars!!??? The coleslaw was in a small little plastic container that is smaller than a Popeyes biscuit. Also the bathroom was out of order which was kind of an uh oh. Closing statement: Overrated.
