A hidden jem of Scarborough. You might might find a better sushi place downtown for way more $$, but in the east end this place to me is the far superior value. It's very good sushi at a decent price. I had the rainbow rolls, which I think is the best. The owner is great and obviously cares about his work. There is small seating if you want, but this really a takeout sushi place at heart - a good higher-end one though.
Good service, very friendly staff. However the sushi is on a lower end grade. Some rolls seemed fresh, others not so much. Rice was hard on some rolls, possibly old and not freshly made. Quick service otherwise.
This is a family business. The owners are the nicest people. The sushi and shashimi is delicious. I recommend trying their spicy miso soup! And they have affordable prices. Ever order is made on the spot. Fresh ingredients.
