Thai On Rock Restaurant

Highly recommend the green coconut curry, chicken fried rice, green mango salad, coconut milk shake, beef devil, hot & sour soup. They’ve been our go to Thai spot. The flavours are a little unique which gives this spot a memorable experience.

Yesterday I ordered food from Thai On Rock Restaurant for the first time to try out.
I placed order through Uber Eats.
Food in reality looks nothing like pictures in Uber Eats. On Uber Eats it looks much more appetizing.
Pad Thai with Beef was completely uneatable. It smelled awful with some strong metallic taste in it and nothing like a usual mouth-watering Pad Thai smells and tastes. I was not able to eat it. Onion rings were definitely fried in an old oil, but were ok. Shrimps were well cooked, however they were served with burned onion as a side dish plus salad was not fresh.
Called the Restaurant to resolve the issue with Pad Thai. At first, they told me to talk to Uber. Uber told me to call the Restaurant. Called the Restaurant again. The lady from the Restaurant took my name and number, told me that the manager will contact me back in 20 minutes. Nobody called me back yesterday or today.

Ordered Chicken Pad Thai. Got home, open the bag and it’s overcooked noodles, cooked and ketchup on it tofu and some pieces of chicken, lots of rotten scallions on top. Cannot be eaten. I’m sooooo disappointed. It’s really not fair

We were a group of 6. Kheta took very good care of us. The staff were pleasant. The food warm tasty full of flavour. Portions were a good size.

Went there with friends. We all loved the food. Their lamb fried rice is a must try. Fast service. Will comeback to try their new dishes.

One of the worst customer service you can find

I've been going to Thai On Rock for years and I've never been disappointed. I usually get the same 5 dishes and the consistency is amazing. Portion sizes are huge and easily do me for two meals. Highly recommended.

I typically don't leave bad reviews but I absolutely had to for this. Ordered from here for the first time. Ordered their pad thai which is probably a staple for any thai restaurant. The noodles were soggy and overcooked, I don't know what the sauce was but it was definitely not pad thai sauce. Didn't ask for tofu but got tofu. There were what I can only assume are bottom of the pan scrapings in my meal. Don't know about the rest of the menu, but don't eat the pad thai.

We just ordered Thai on rock and the food was amazing! Curry chicken fried rice, curry chicken Padthai, spicy coconut eggplant dish and hot sour soup all were delicious and large portions. Will definitely be ordering more often. Thank you for the awesome food.

One of my favourite places to eat. But I noticed lately they haven’t been filling the take out containers like they used to. I ordered 2 pad Thai and they filled the containers about half way only. I guess they’re trying to save money . Food is still amazing but you will just get less of it.

Absolutely delicious! Portions are big...great value. This was a doordash order.

Highly recommend the Malaysian chicken with rice. Also coconut mango rice for dessert was Devine! Chicken shrimp pad thai had perfect blend of sweet and tangy tamarind. Lots of shrimp and chicken. Veg spring rolls were excellent too!

Place is a gem! Will try dine in when I am closeby.
