I went to this store after 3 years and I’m heavily disappointed in terms of taste, quantity and overall experience. I ordered some porotta beef and the quantity of beef was negligible, as if I paid 20 bucks for 2 porotta and a bowl of onions. The pieces were small, I ordered a biriyani which surprisingly doesn’t taste like biriyani. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. The cashier Milna was good but the food experience all together was not worth it. Never coming here again.

Ordered chicken kizhi porotta today, and I was really happy to see that they followed my note exactly as requested — a big thank you to the chef for that. Small gestures like this truly mean a lot 👍🏻

The front desk staff were also very kind and welcoming. Good food and good people — truly deserving of 5 stars 🌟

Heartfelt thanks to the staff for their effort 🙌🏻

Ordered chicken biriyani for dine in knowing there wait I tried calling them prior to my visit not answer on phone, tried more than 10 times before we reached the store. I guy at the reception was not very helpful upon telling him we are here for dine in he directly asked us for the order when asked about the menu said to grab it from a different table. The restaurant is very congested on seating space and heater not properly working. I rated the food quality too poor because it gone way down from what they used to serve. Hope they atleast work on the customer service side in the future, which is most important in creating an impression on the first place.

Food is extremely inconsistent and tastes bad. We ordered chicken biryani and it was full of rice and hardly any chicken. I would strongly avoid this place.

The food is good, especially Sukka biriyani. It’s flavorful, well-cooked, and very satisfying. Definitely worth trying.

Im accustomed to purchasing food from this establishment however I ordered from doordash, the food I received was horrible the Tandoori chicken was extra salted along with missing items from the order ..I decided to give the store a courtesy call and not report on doordash as I do understand mistakes happens sometimes.. I placed a call on Saturday a Manager was suppose to return a call regarding the order.Today is Monday still no response, so I decided to call.I mean where is the customer service. The cashier response was she is only as employee and her manager said to refund the wings that's missing from the order. Please try to do better with customer service and the quantity of food your giving your customers

The quality of the food is excellent, however, the delivery service consistently experiences delays. I placed my order through a third-party delivery application, and I've noticed that the waiting period is longer compared to other similar establishments.

Recently, I ordered Kappa Biriyani and Fried Rice from Uber Eats. The food was very disappointing. The “fried rice” tasted like biriyani rice mixed with some chicken gravy, and the Kappa Biriyani was full of waste pieces of kappa, very messy, and even tasted slightly sweet. Overall, it was not tasty at all.
I will not order from here again because it feels like they don’t value their customers and think they can send anything as food. Very disappointing experience.

I’ve been a regular customer at Thalassery for almost 2 years. Their biriyani used to be one of the most authentic and tastiest in Toronto. But ever since the management changed, the quality has dropped noticeably. The quantity is less, the rice has no flavour, and it no longer tastes like the original recipe we loved.
It’s disappointing to see such a big change, especially when the old biriyani was truly amazing. I really hope they bring back the original recipes and quality, many regular customers like me miss it.

I ordered Fish Nirvana for dine-in over the phone and waited approximately 15 minutes after arriving at the restaurant. When my dish was finally served, the center of the fish was cold, indicating it was not properly prepared. What made the experience even more disappointing was that no server approached to acknowledge or address the issue. This level of service is unacceptable.
