This is the spot if you want a taste of Trinidad Chinese style cooking. Full of flavor and family style shareable plates. Great music and vibes. Fried Wantons was fantastic and so was the General Chicken. Must check it out when you are in Scarborough, Toronto area. Great hang out spot for family and friends. Terrific service!

I had a very disappointing experience with The Avenue on Saturday evening (August 30th) when I called to place a pickup order. The staff member who answered the phone was unprofessional and dismissive throughout the interaction.
When he asked how I would be paying and I responded “cash,” he immediately replied with “nah nah,” in a dismissive tone that made it clear he was unwilling to proceed with the order.
This behavior was both inappropriate and unwelcoming. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I hope management takes steps to address this issue and ensure their staff represent the business more professionally in the future.

Had a wonderful time at Avenue restaurant. We went as a group of 9 for dinner on a Friday night. We ordered pepper shrimp, fried calamari (spicy squid on the menu), fried rice with jerk chicken, and lo mein with jerk chicken. Everything was delicious. The staff were friendly and made us feel very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent food and true trini chinese flavour. Can never find real shrimp wantons, bbq chicken and pepper shrimps in Canada as Trinidad does it until now!!! A must try. Great ambience with all the old and new classics and hits, music from T&T
