We had a very unpleasant experience at Captain Boil last February 14. When we arrived, there were not many customers yet, so we expected our food to be served quickly. However, as more customers came in, their orders were served ahead of ours even though we arrived earlier.
To make things worse, our order arrived incomplete, and the service was very disappointing and poorly managed. Because of the long wait and the issues with our order, we ended up just taking our feast to go.

Didn't get the value for money.. we ordered snow crab, the flavour & quality was good but the quantity was too less with skinny crab legs. Even their seafood fried rice was okay, could see only shrimps & that too tiny & little. They're bit higher on salt & oil. Overall there are much bettef places out there for the seafood.

Never getting a dollar out of me ever again. Shittiest crab ever. There was next to no meat in it. Server said “I’m sorry” and walked away.

I used to be regular customer at Captain’s Boil, which makes this experience even more disappointing. They are going downhill.
The food served to us caused illness for multiple members of my family shortly after our visit. This was a direct result of the meal we consumed and is a serious food safety issue.
Management acknowledged the situation and promised a refund, then stopped responding entirely. No explanation, no resolution. I have multiple screenshots to support this.I have contacted atleast 15 times but they disappeared.
What is deeply concerning is that many other reviews report similar experiences, showing this is not an isolated incident.
As long-time customers, we expected responsibility and professionalism. Instead, we experienced complete disregard. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience from such a big chain!

This place is over priced and underwhelming. There may have been a time when it was better, but it looks like management has revamped the menu and pricing. No bibs, no lobster picks and a waiter upselling packages with too many sides. Buyer beware.

I’m surprised this place is still open. I’ve eaten here a few times in the past and it was pretty good.. There was a “conditional pass” due to improper cleanliness.. posted from a recent inspection, but we still decided to try it out again, the service was very nonchalant. Although they close at 10 p.m., last call was already happening around 8:45, and customers were turned away around 9 p.m. saying the kitchen was closed... The next day, both my daughter and I had stomach pain. We were also served hard-boiled eggs that we had to crack ourselves. Overall, very disappointing experience.
Clearly the “ conditional pass “ was right.

I visited The Captain’s Boil yesterday and was extremely disappointed. We were charged a 50% service charge even though there were only five adults and two children, because I had brought food for my children who don't like seafood. They also changed the portion sizes; the bag of shrimp that was supposed to be enough for one person was too small, and the sauce inside was very little. Furthermore, we were forced to sit in an uncomfortable spot under the pretext that other tables were closed, which wasn't true. The service was poor due to staff shortages, making the experience slow and frustrating. I will not be going back to this restaurant.

My hubby and I went to this place last year first time for him, I bragged about it to him as I had gone to a different location prior. This one was close to us so I took him, his main dish ordered was shrimp fried rice and to tell you, when the rice came and he took a fork full he immediately spit it out, I asked what happen and he asked me to taste it, when I did my jaw went numb, it was as if they had placed a whole pack of Salt in one plate of rice.
He called the waiter and explained and he took it back to the kitchen, after a few minutes he return with another plate which was no different.
My hubby decided not to return it as he said he don't want any one back there to think he is annoying and maybe spit in the food, as we hear about so many crazy things that happen in restaurants.
so, we ate the rest of the items ordered and we took the rice home.
He asked me to use it to make new fried rice which I did. It took me 1kg rice to dilute a plate of rice to make it edible.
Needless to say, he told me he will never go back to that place again or any other location. I am disappointed because I don't feel when the plate return as neing very salty the chef tasted it to see if it was, otherwise they would not have sent the same rice back to the table.
The food was bussing and the man on the aux was fire!!
