TO MANAGEMENT- STOP TAKING TIPS FROM THE SERVERS.

The food here is decent, but the way management treats servers is unacceptable. I visited this place recently, I left a generous tip, only to later find out that tips do not go to the servers. Even worse, servers can get in trouble if they accept tips directly from customers.

There are cameras everywhere, and management reportedly monitors staff to make sure they don’t take tips home. These servers (many of whom are students) are already paid very poorly. Taking their tips on top of that is beyond unbelievable and deeply unfair.
Please change this policy. Servers deserve the tips customers leave for them.

We got our food very fast. But the dosas were bland in these. No salt. Otherwise it's good. But I recommend to go to Brampton's Nilgiries. That one is the best

Had dinner at Nilgiris. We ordered ghee dosa, rava dosa, pongal, and onion dosa. The rava dosa was crispy and tasty, and the other dosas were also well prepared. However, the pongal was not good and lacked flavor.

All the items were served with three different chutneys and sambar, which paired well with the dosas. The chutney portions could have been a little more. Overall, an average South Indian meal.

Poor service… we ordered food and suddenly my son asked me to order something, the staff was so rude and refused to change the order.

Do not order Chilli Parotta. It’s too seeet and savoury. Didn’t like it. Vada , idlie and dosa are very good. Coffee is the best. I hope the owner read this and do good job on chilli parotta.

I’ll start by saying the food here is great, the service on the other hand is just slow. The other day I went in and ordered Dosa and Idili with other short eats. Got the short eats right away and was told it would be a 10 minute wait for the dosa and idili, which I was fine with. I waited in the car and came back in 15 mins and the one of the food items wasn’t ready. I asked a few more times and was told it was still not ready. After another 5/10 mins I asked for a refund of the one item so I could leave with the other item. Which her manager did. I went and asked for the item that was ready and girl said that my order was cancelled. I went back to the manager and asked for a refund of the other item too which he gave to me after apologizing for the miscommunication with the server. The girl working at the take out counter has really bad communication skills. If you are going to go get take out, place a phone order 30 mins before and don’t waste your time when you get there.
