The food is absolutely amazing, out of this world. But @owner please, I’m literally begging you please fix the customer service. This restaurant carries huge potential and could go really far with making these few changes.

- Greet customer as they come in
- Acknowledge customer and make them feel welcomed.
-Attend to the needs in order without partiality
-Practice communication and faster service with enthusiasm and positive smiles.
-A little background music would be great.
Kindly do not ignore these suggestions as I do recognize that majority of the complaints point towards the Customer Service.

The beef suya combo was just not okay at all, I ordered today and all I could taste was smoke like I was eating something burnt and this after bitter taste, the peppered sauce also was tasting like raw boiled pepper no seasoning nothing like just boiled blended pepper like, the only thing I enjoyed was the plaintain, you guys need to do better please the whole food was just tasting like smoke and this is the second time I’m buying and the first time too was the same issue.

The girl at the front was rude , I purchased the jollof rice since I had tried the Ghanaian one and it was to die for and I was expecting the same . The small rice was 10$ and got charged 2$ for gravy . But it was too salty and not worth it . Poor representation of Nigerian cuisine

I have ordered at this location couples of time and found that the food is not really what I expected. The salt is usually a lot, even when it is specified in my note. Today I ordered jollof rice, fish and dodo..... I could not eat the food. I called to make a complaint and the lady at the front became very rude, yelling and giving a nonchalant attitude from the way she spoke and answered on the phone, so I hung up the call. She called me back and yelled at me then dropped the call. The owner or manager of this spot need to hire more moralistic personnel. Also please watch the salt level when cooking, as well as try not to over use your cooking oil.... this lady told me the oil for frying are changed every Friday!!! This is absolutely unhealthy. I am definitely not coming back.

This place is a vibe !!! Been curious to try for 2 years now and finally went in and damn it did not disappoint ! First off it’s a vibe ! Very authentic feels authentic and I love that ! Then came the food … ordered the combo with beef rice plantain 🤤what a unique flavor spiced just right and smoky but a nice smoke I can’t describe it … feels like the heart of Africa gave me a hug 😂I loved it def will go back and have already told my buddies . Also the portions are big! EASY 5* and special thanks to the lady at the front who was helping me as a new customer 🔥🔥🔥ohhh the hot sauce HIT THE SPOT

I always order the beef suya and it's so flavorful. Whenever i get a craving, it just hits the spot, each time. I noticed that the beef is now much more tender which is great. Their plantain is the best, so soft, sweet and perfectly cooked. The hot sauce is the bomb (literally, lol) so I take it on the side instead of mixed in.

I ordered twice to give them a fair chance, but both times the ‘suya’ tasted nothing like traditional Nigerian suya. The flavour was completely off, the texture was unpleasant, and overall it didn’t reflect what suya should taste like. Disappointing experience.

Where did the peanut soup go??????? 😭 The food is excellent, would like the the portions to match the price just a bit more. . . On a serious note, no peanut soup??

I wish I could give this place a higher rating because the food tastes great. I ordered the Beef Suya Combo w/ Jollof rice. The flavours were great, first time having both dishes and they were really tasty. Rice had a smokiness and slight spice and the beef was really well seasoned with good salt levels. Their hot sauce is very spicy (coming from someone with a high spice tolerance) and if I was to get this again I would ask for it to be on the side rather than tossed onto the meat.

Had to dock 2 stars for reasons unrelated to flavour.

First price, for a meat and rice meal paying over $30 all in seems quite high, even though the portion was solid I don't think I would pay $30 for a single person takeout meal again. That being said i don't know how labor intensive the recipe is so this isn't as big of a deal.

The main issue I had with my order was the grease/oil. I ordered delivery and the food was delivered in a brown paper bag. The drink was placed inside the bag. There was so much oil that my drink can was completely covered in oil when I took it out. Even after taking out the food from the bag, there was a puddle of oil that pooled on my table just from the remnants that were left in the bag. The takeout container with the food was no better. As tasty as the food was, I could not finish the meal and had to stop not even halfway through. There was a large pool of oil underneath the rice, enough to the point that even after mixing up the rice it was oversaturated and oil remained pooled underneath and it became unappetizing at some point. I would really consider giving this place another shot if an improvement could be made to this issue.
