On September 19th at 2:30 PM, the young woman handling orders at the front desk had terrible service! I asked her for my receipt since I paid with a gift card and credit card. She glanced at me, then slammed her fingers on the screen, printed my receipt, and tossed it onto the table. My hand was already reaching for it. From start to finish, she only spoke one sentence to me, asking what kind of card I was holding. She gave me the impression that I had annoyed her. I understand that service staff might be tired and not smile much or speak often. But her behavior was very unpleasant.

There’s good and bad situation everywhere! With this Tim Hortons there’s so great people working there with great customers service skills… things like: remembering their customers and what they order on a daily basic and always with a smile. Thank you for the little things that counts!

I have been coming to this place for over 20 years. I used to spend $100-$200 a month at Tim Hortons. A few years ago, I stopped going to Tim's altogether because I was consistently disappointed in the constant messing up of orders, problems understanding staff, slow service, and watery ice caps. To make things worse, they weren't even allowing patrons to use the wathroom. I don't know how that's not contrary to city by-laws. In short, like many locations, this one was a disaster.
Well, this week, I decided to pick up an ice cap. The Chinese-Canadian cashier actually spoke English well and took my order without problems. The wathrooms were open, and the staff were more welcoming.
It's a far cry from the Tim Hortons of years past, but at least you can get a decent ice cap and use the washroom. Just don't expect to make new friends with other patrons...it isn't your local independent cafe'.
UPDATE: Within an hour of posting this review, someone set up a fake profile just to give me a low rating on my business. It is for this reason that I've lowered my overall rating. All specific ratings are unchanged. If the owner or someone on his team is so vindictive, imagine what they'll do to your order if they don't like you. This is a real concern that will steer me clear of this Tim Hortons.
