I went to this Tim Hortons today to buy a Farmer’s Wrap before taking my flu shot. I hadn’t had breakfast yet and stopped by for a quick meal. When I tried to pay using my debit card, the machine buttons weren’t working properly, I couldn’t even enter my PIN. The staff asked me to try again, and I did two more times, but it still didn’t work. Then she asked me to use my credit card, but I explained that the issue was with the machine and not my card.
Instead of checking the machine or listening to what I said, she told me the machine works fine because “everyone else is paying.” I mentioned that tap doesn’t work on my card since I disabled it for security reasons. After that, she became rude and started taking orders from other customers, completely ignoring me.
I felt really disrespected. I wasn’t rude at all. I just wanted to have breakfast before my flu shot, but the way I was treated made me feel bad. A little understanding and patience from staff would have made a big difference.

The food and beverages are consistently fresh throughout the day, adhering to the company's standards. That being said, the hospitality and exceptional service have won me over as a repeat customer to this place since day one. Their ability to serve both drive-in and walk-in customers efficiently while maintaining a warm smile even during peak hours is impressive. My experience with this coffee shop has been truly fantastic; from the moment I go in, they are ready to serve me with a smile, and I leave satisfied. This friendly Tim Horton's is conveniently located at Lawrence East and Warden, just opposite the bus stop, and is a great place to get treated, whether it's summer or winter. You guys are awesome.
