Went to Timehri last Sunday at 9pm, the owner Mr. Paul told us that the restaurant is closed, but the timing on google says closed at 11pm, a 2 hour difference. I used to eat here alot back in the day and brought a friend from a distance to eat here, and told me told that it’s closed at 9 when it clearly says open until 11 was a huge let down. Mr. Paul didn’t seem to be so concerned about telling us we can’t dine in, and said if we want food to order take out. What is the purpose of telling people you’re open when you’ll just turn them around at the door, not a very good look. I’m sure Mr. Paul isn’t worried about this review as customers will still come, but in the end of the day maybe this will save the next person a drive after being misinformed about the hours. Truly hoping Mr. Paul will do better in the future.

Heard about this from a family member and stopped by. The food was amazing..I ordered Guyanese mixed fried rice and my friends ordered Bangamary, Guyanese chowmein and more fried rice. The food was AMAZING...fresh reminded me of back home. Food came out in a prompt manner. We ordered take out but ended up eating there and ordered drinks, it was like a real lime like we have back home. The owners wife came out and chatted with us and it was a blast. The atmosphere very welcoming, clean and friendly from the lady who took our orders down to the food to the cook and hostess A+++. I begged our host to open a store further West end, that's how much we enjoyed.a simple pickup ended up with us hanging out there for over an hour.

Tasty meals, well priced and always an event for the entire family. Always check for onsite promotions and summer boat cruises. Always a blast with good fun.

We went at 430pm for early dinner. Fried rice was lovely. Chicken curry was ok. Waitress had to ask 3 times if we wanted chicken on top, as she kept forgetting the order and did not write it down. She also pointed to a bar chair when asked for a high chair (we had baby in hand, making it obvious it was for a baby). The restaurant was sweltering. I thought we were in a 3rd world country because it was so hot. This place survives due to its meals, not because of the restaurant setting itself. For the takeout, they are very stingy with their pepper sauce and only gave 1 small container.

Quick review!Absolutely horrible food.I ordered fried rice and chowmein today. Honestly, very bland , no taste. For a Guyanese Chinese restaurant I expected bora and lots of green onions and a tasty set of food without the use of a frozen vege medley. The chowmein is a dry set of noodles with a shimmer of vege and no green onions. Hot sau e is also spoiled. Bad smell with a white froth sitting on top.......From the time I called in to order, the girl answered the phone by saying hi, no acknowledgement of the establishment. She even got my order wrong even though I repeated it 5 times.I WASTED MY MONEY TODAY, PLEASE, IM WARNING YOU, DONT WASTE YOUR OWN.I'LL BE CALLING THE OWNER TOMORROW ASVISING HIM OF MY EXPERIENCE.1st AND LAST TIME.YOU NEED TO IMPROVE IN SERVICE, QUALITY OF FOOD AND TASTE.VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Timehri's has catered for our Hindu wedding 6 years ago. Since then, various family members have continued to use them to cater puja ceremonies. Food is always on point, will definitely continue to use them.

Good Guyanese style Chinese food. The pork fried rice was very good . Definitely made in the Guyanese style . It was a very good portion for $15 . The mixed wonton soup was salty ,but the portion was way too small , I believe the price was $12 , and so the portion was at least half of what it should be. The total bill was $34 for I special fried rice , soup and one soda. I will go back to try the chow mien and the pepper shrimp.
