Toro Toro Sushi and Poke

The sushi was fresh and tasty! Service was also great - we brought cake to celebrate our friend’s bday and the staff were very accommodating, from slicing, serving, and even packkng the leftovers for us. Will definitely come again :)

Great spot for really tasty and unique sushi. Very large portions – got the tasting box for 2 and it could definitely feed 3. (See pic after we already started digging in)

Sushi wasn’t the most fresh but still very tasty. The aburi sushi had a little too much sauce but that’s a matter of personal preference.

Overall, super solid option and not too pricey. Will be back.

It felt like I was eating sauce the whole time, it was really great! greasy! Got it! I always feel that the ingredients are not very fresh. The price is not cheap. At the end of the meal, I couldn't eat any more and threw it all away.

One of our favorite sushi places. Great ambiance, reasonable prices, and, of course, awesome food. We had strict dietary restrictions (halal - no cross contamination with crab and chicken). The Scarborough location staff was very helpful, courteous, and accommodating. Thank you, Mira and MJ. We're definitely coming back.

Food was great but don't recommend dining in.

You eat from cardboard boxes and tables went uncleaned.

The lemon in their water made it taste bad, why not just tap water as is?

Got the tasting box and it was great! Each piece was fresh and tasted great. My favorite was the summer roll but the aburi sushi was great too. The packaging was beautiful and showed care in their branding.

Stopped by for lunch, and the sushi bowls are on point. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and fast service. My go-to is the poke bowl—always hits the spot. Great value for what you get. Highly recommend checking it out!

Once you eat at Toro Toro, you’ll never go back to other sushi joints.

1. They understand packaging. If you are eating in or taking out, they are setting your expectations high by the lux packaging your sushi is sitting in.

2. They understand taste. Do yourself the favour and get their sushi burritos. The flavours that come together in one bite literally blows my mind. Also, don’t go without trying their taste box! Very very good!

High recommend checking them out, and please open more locations because I crave your food every day!
