Good ice-cream! (we didn’t try anything else)
Was across the street at Dominoes and decided to come get desert here at T&E. The cake slices I got were very dry, not moist. The 1st slice was stale. I didn’t both finishing the others I had.
$16 wasted. If I could, I would’ve filed a chargeback with my CC company.
DO NOT COME HERE FOR CAKES! Better off going to Timmies next door for a donut or the 10-minute drive to D-Spot Desserts at Markham and Ellesmere.
These guys must be asking friends to leave reviews.

Drove all the way from the Beaches for a twist cone. Before ordering, I specifically asked the woman at the counter if they had twist .. she said yes. So we ordered two smalls and paid.
I watched her test the machine, and only vanilla came out. She still handed us two plain vanilla cones, hoping we wouldn’t say anything. When we pointed it out, she said, “But you already paid,” like that meant she couldn’t or wouldn’t fix it .. and then walked away.
It honestly felt like she was trying to get away with it. Eventually, after we pushed, she swapped them for something else. But the whole thing left a bad taste. If the machine’s not working, just say so. Don’t lie to make a sale. Won’t be back.

Popped in late-night Monday. Bought an ice cream scoop and 2 cake slices.
Both slices were stale, with the rainbow slice being very stale and hard. I had to throw it out. Took two bites and was disgusted.
That aside the staff were friendly. The place is nice but I’m unsure if I’ll go back for the cake slices.

It was totally fine. Nothing wrong with the icecream but the waffle cone was insanely stale. Pretty bad considering it was an additional $2. It was stale to the point that we couldn't eat it :(. Atmosphere was that of any store in a strip mall like this. Nothing special despite it being 30°c+ out

Had ice cream here today, the taste of mango seems soo artificial and vanilla also was bland, doesn't seem like Kawartha

Very average food.
I ordered their chocolate cake slice, brownie and a sundae.
The sundae was very average and the ice cream didn’t even taste good. The brownie tasted more like a plum cake slightly burnt with walnuts on top of it and the cake was overpriced. Not worth the price. Tbh readymade cakes in Costco tasted better. Wanted to satisfy my sweet cravings but ended up unsatisfied. Ordinary shop with some average food. If you find no other spot to try some desserts you could go ahead with this.

Mr waseem leaving unwanted reviews due to him mishearing on a phone call. so I’m leaving one for him . Terrible individual.
Amazing place right in Scarborough for kawartha ice cream! Cones are made fresh in house and are amazing! They many different things to try! Loved everything and so did the kids!
Treats’ n Eats is a cheerful dessert shop tucked inside a Sheppard Avenue plaza. The smell of vanilla batter and melted chocolate greets you at the door, and the neon-lit counter crew keep things welcoming.
I tried the Cheesecake Dream crêpe. Watching the cook swirl batter on the griddle, then layer strawberries, cheesecake, white-chocolate drizzle, and Kawartha Dairy Black Raspberry Thunder ice cream was a show in itself. The mix of warm crêpe, cool ice cream, and tart fruit worked well, though the sweetness crept up after a few bites.
Next came the Peanut Butter Brownie Cheesecake, a dense slice packed with peanut-butter mousse and brownie bits. Fans of salty-sweet desserts will enjoy it, but one slice is plenty.
Portions are generous, prices feel fair, and the menu lets you build your own crêpe or waffle with dozens of toppings. I don’t have a big sweet tooth and will likely save a return visit for when the craving hits, yet Treats’ n Eats remains a solid choice for anyone hunting a fun dessert stop in Scarborough.
One Star – If I Could Give Zero, I Would.
Where do I even begin? I ordered a Milk Chocolate Indulgence Cake – you know, the rich, decadent, smooth chocolate masterpiece that I’ve been daydreaming about for weeks. I had a special occasion. I had guests. I had plans. What did this so-called “bakery” give me instead? A Red Velvet Cake. RED. VELVET. CAKE. Are you kidding me?
First of all, red velvet isn’t even real chocolate cake. It’s a weak, confused imposter with a food coloring addiction. Who in their right mind thinks it’s okay to swap out a luxurious milk chocolate indulgence cake for a flavor that tastes like a dyed sponge with bitter icing? Not only is this an outrageous substitution – they didn’t even call to ask. No phone call, no email, no heads-up, just a box with the wrong cake like it was completely normal to ruin someone’s celebration.
Let’s talk about the cake itself. Dry. Crumbly. Tasted like it had been made three days ago and left to contemplate its bad decisions in the back of a fridge. The frosting? An overly sweet, gritty mess of cream cheese horror. The layers were uneven, the decoration was sloppy, and there were even little air bubbles in the icing like it was in a rush to escape the disaster it had become. This was not a cake – this was a culinary insult.
When I called the bakery to ask what on earth had happened, the staff acted like I was being difficult. “Oh, we thought it would be okay.” YOU THOUGHT?! You thought it would be okay to completely ignore what I ordered, ruin my party centerpiece, and give me a cake that nobody wanted to eat? There was no apology, no refund, not even a coupon. Just weak excuses and the audacity to suggest I should “try red velvet – it’s popular.” Well congratulations, you just made me hate red velvet for life.
Anagha and guneet were so nice and helpful, everything was amazing
